Consisted of Lier & Texture, a mighty Galician-Andalusi connection in charge of one of the most explosive collectives and parties: Ego-Trip. Truly diggers and top record spinners, an honor to host them on our mix series. 

This podcast was recorded live at festival Jaleo Real last summer (2023), an idyllic retreat in Ávila, and it goes without saying that it was in our humble opinion one of the top sets, on a carefully selected trip all the way from funk, balearic, world, hip-hop to the roots of house.

If you sit down, you better shake it.

Heap digs deep. Not one to bow to trends and fanciful fads he knows his shit. Real abstract electronics for the dancefloors with a twist. The Neubau founder has worked tirelessly for years showcasing the best in raw, rugged, forward thinking music. Florian Stöffelbauer is Heap. The prolific man co-leads the Vienna based record label Neubau and Wiener Brut, which keeps impressing vinyl enthusiasts since its birth in 2015. Artists like Aufgang B, Karamika, Leo James and more recently Alexander Arpeggio, Gil.Barte, MR TC and Lo Kindre joined the roster and participated with forward thinking and brave dance music.
		
As diverse and interesting as his label’s output, so is Florian’s DJing. Deep knowledge of music and many secret gems in his vinyl bag let him guide faithful listeners all over Europe.

Annelies Monseré has been playing music solo since 2000. Initially the music was piano-based and mostly instrumental. Once she 'discovered' her voice, vocals became a main focus. The early songs had very simple structures and melodies, and the words were sparse and introvert. Musically, she experimented with different instruments such as cello, guitar, xylophone and melodica. Her debut album 'Helder' (released by BlueSanct) was described as "a delicate album, complete with beautiful cracks and loads of tape-hiss. [...] an intensely intimate album". Other musicians, such as Wim Lecluyse (Circle Bros.) , Ellen Evers (The Puddle Parade), Jessica Bailiff, Michael Anderson (dREKKa, Turn Pale), Nathan Amundson (rivulets), Justin Vollmar (Vollmar)and Nathan Vollmar (Vollmar) supported her on stage and contributed to her second album 'Marit' (release by Auetic). This gave the album a significantly warmer sound and a less solitary feel than her previous material. Her most recent output is a 7 inch called 'somewhere someone' on Morc Records. This ep features a Hammond organ for the first time. This instrument led to new approaches in songwriting. This release deviates clearly from previous releases, with a darker and harsher sound. Besides her solo materials she is also collaborating with Jessica Bailiff. An EP has been released by Morc Records. For the moment she is working on a third full length, on new music with Jessica Bailiff, and more.

Les yeux fermés proposent des concerts dans l’obscurité, sans écrans ni téléphones portables, avec un dispositif d’écoute immersif pour mieux se perdre dans le son et renouer avec une expérience intime et collective.

Après des concerts à la Gaité Lyrique, au Lieu Unique (Nantes), la Fondation Beyeler (Basel) ou la SAT de Montréal, Les Yeux Fermés investissent les ondes de Rinse France pour une émission mensuelle de deux heures au cours de laquelle un(e) invité(e) aura carte blanche pour sélectionner une heure de musique à écouter dans l’obscurité, la première heure étant sélectionnée par Guillaume Sorge, le directeur artistique du projet.

Cette émission sans parole vous proposera une géographie sonore de l’intime, sélectionnée par des artistes issu(e)s d’horizons divers - pas forcément des musiciens - ayant en commun un rapport très particulier à la musique.

We are a local record label based in Madrid, born in 2019.

The label name comes from the mistakes unveiling the extraordinary. Our first release from Om Buschman was possible due to the finding of hundreds of original copies with matte covers in a warehouse. Those never got distributed because of the printing error, therefore Glossy Mistakes.
