Flying Through Time

Eithreog is a type of wild berry, somewhere between a raspberry and a blackberry. Fásann sé ar dhumhcha liatha. It grows on grey dunes. Eithreog grows white flowers in March and April, and is thought of as a beneficial weed, growing mostly in costal communities.   

Eithreog’s music takes from the land a feeling of groundedness in nature; a certain reliance on the outside world for inspiration, sample material, and aesthetics is at the core of this musical work / sound practice.   

While existing in the cultural context of the digital proliferation of music and the online space, the music itself wishes to instil a feeling of realness, rawness, and a closeness to nature, and hopefully serves to carry whomever is listening to a quiescent headspace.

The Cooper-Church Amendment is a solo project by Rob O'Sullivan, started in 2011 as a college project. He works mostly as an instrumental artist, drawing inspiration from soundtrack composers such as John Murphy and Nobuo Uematsu. Other influences include Devin Townsend, Motion City Soundtrack, and Tesseract. 

'All Things Must Pass' is his debut full length album.
