With this Full Moon Prayer I want to manifest the intention of cosmic healing at the deepest level possible. Almost two years long I collected songs, tried different ways of mixing and spent time in silence too but finally I am happy to share the second >>La Oriación<< 

It's no coincidence that the second prayer is exactly ready before the september full moon. Because of the proximity to the autumn equinox, exceptionally thin curtains open the doors to the other world. It's the time, when nature supports us with magical mushrooms to understand this world and remember our own nature. With the first edition I received a lot of beautiful messages that the sound journey was a perfect guide for psychedelic adventures. As I feel I have to go more into the direction of sound healing combined with natures medicines, my focus now was to create a healing and powerful soundtrack for these times.

This mix represents a potent journey of deep prayer for our dance community as well as the world at large. When I dive deep into a mix like this, I like to include music that I have received from artists who are friends or I've had the honor of collaborating with. It brings for me an even deeper heart resonance when I know that this work has connected us and we've exchanged inspiration. This set includes tracks from Mercan Dede, Shamans Dream, Scott Nice, Temple Step, Snow Raven, DRRTYWULVZ, Ra-Be 333, DJ Shub & others. Not to mention the additional inspiration I received from my dear brother, Max Fathom that informed this mix.

The opening track features Mercan Dede calling out to the long line of prophets of the Ages. The journey focuses on the music medicine of the Sufis, the indigenous medicine keepers of the Americas, the deep roots of our African ancestors as well as revolutionary bass, hip hop and rave culture throwbacks. It was the rave culture of the 90's when I first experienced what contemporary culture was capable of in achieving Unity on the dance floor.  The Sufi's and Native Americans as well as the African Drum Troupe from Mali that I toured with also showed me later on what is truly possible with the added layer of ceremonial intention. 

This mix is pure medicine and the state of grace that we all experienced on the dance floor together is my reason for doing all of this. I hope that this mix brings you release, empowerment, connection and joy. 

There’s something profoundly magical that happens when the bpm of the music synchs up with the dancers pulse rate. It usually occurs around 110-130bpm, where the music begins to carry the heartbeats of the entire collective of the dancefloor in sympathetic resonance. It’s miraculous when we reach this moment of ecstasy and it can be extended for an hour or more where the dancer completely loses awareness of time & space and any feeling of self consciousness. It’s known by the ancient Greeks as ekstasis - the state of being beside oneself or rapt out of oneself.

This 3 hour journey was recorded in the sweet morning hours of the Ambyss Stage, in the middle of the vortex portal that was and is OZORA Festival:  

Lovingly named a "Psychedelic Tribal Gathering", this visionary festival really cracked my artist-heart & elder-raver-spirit open...I had multiple moments of releasing tears from the beauty around me:  from the exquisite electronic music, to the visionary art surrounding me, to all of the diverse open-hearted humans swimming in my field:  reminding me of the spiritual roots of house-music and rave-culture that shaped me in the late 90's, and continues to shape me...such a blessing to receive this medicine.

To be able to weave my musical contribution into this rich-tapestry was an honor, and enlivened my artistic spirit (who does not enjoy formulas or being put into boxes)...I loved being in an open space of infinite possibilities, and I bow to the open minds & souls that received these frequencies:  journeying between Ambient, Medicine Music & no tracks above 90 bpm, creating a sweet-womb-cocoon for the morning.

Sometimes in life we wake up and realize what effect our careless and wild life has had. In this face we become aware of the pain and the simultaneous grief inside. It is a reflection of ourselves in every atom and every cell and an intense impulse that runs through our entire existence. Like a volcano that brings out all that is deep-seated in its eruption, the earth trembles within us and pours everything out. The pain of separation and the fear of death behind abandonment is a tremendous force and energy that we can finally surrender to and penetrate. This takes time and patience with ourselves. As we surrender to this outpouring and release, we can free ourselves at some time then. Space is made for the new within and once the veils and mists have lifted, fertile ground is created for the new. It is time for regeneration and new creation. I have created this mix for all those who are experiencing something similar with me in this process of suffering. It is a tribute to the life & power of reformation that lies within us. I am fully alive - feeling everything - Pain, death, loss and off course also self-dissolution in a very intense way - but I AM this LIFE and even more - hope, confidence and faith. Take this mix with you on your personal journey of transformation - let yourself be transformed and trust God's love - it will guide you and always remind you of who you really are

How hard is it to find a jumbo jet in the middle of the desert? Apparently, very hard indeed. It literally took us an hour of bicycling around deep playa until we spied a colour changing LED in the distance. Having investigated all the illumination in close proximity, we set out until it resolved into the most beautiful fuselage we have ever seen. The long journey had come to an end and after locking our bikes we ascended the jetway mere minutes before our set was scheduled to begin. 

A quick soundcheck later, the laser show died down and we played our first track. Perched high atop the plane we could see individual dancers moving about like ants far below us, and the upper deck filled with friends new and old. In the middle of our set a swarm of drones took to the skies behind us for a light spectacle that we missed completely, no one told us there were beautiful machines swooping through the air behind us, and we kept our eyes on the equipment and the dance floor far below us. 

Still, it was an absolute pleasure to play on the latest iteration of the plane, and we are always impressed by the sheer scale of this aviation achievement. We hope you enjoy our music, we certainly enjoyed playing it. Fly safe out there :)

During the Wanderlust Festival in Oahu 2019, Amani was invited to play for 3 relaxing yoga classes taught by Amanda Giacomini. These 3 sets are each different as they were following the flow of the class in the moment and the stories that Amanda weaves into her classes. The sets feature a blend of music from the Liquid Bloom and Desert Dwellers catalog, as well as a few gems from Shamans Dream, Dead Can Dance, Ishq, Shantala, and a few other yoga inspired artists.

Welcome to the third edition of Unlocking the Doors of Infinity, a musical journey created for practicing yoga, breath work, or anything else that this journey inspires in you.

I met Rikke this past January in San Marcos La Laguna, Lago Atitalan, Guatemala. We instantly connected with our passion for yoga, philosophy and science!

In this edition, Rikke shares some beautiful words to guide you into your practice and to return home in the end. She has blessed us with a glimpse into her knowledge and understanding of the quantum field as well as her profound connection to the body and mother earth.

"Presence yourself to yourself.

Presence yourself to the movement of your breath, to the drum of your heartbeat.

Presence yourself to the grounding solidity of your bones as they echo the anchoring resonance of the earth.

Presence yourself to the fluidity and the deep sea intelligence of your organs.

Presence yourself to the electricity of your  nervous system and subatomic particles that vibrate as you.

There is aliveness here.

There is a pulse of creation.

Pour yourself into yourself, pour yourself into this pulse, into the currents that usher their way through the matrix you experience as “you”

Into the depths of you, into the deepest chamber of you, into the ground of your being.

Into the stillness, into the silence.

Here is a gateway, a portal from your being into your becoming.

There is a longing here, a longing for life to birth itself out of itself.

Give yourself to this desire.

This body knows it birthed itself, it made itself, it moves, it has always know how to move.

Out of a field of potentiality you vibrate into form; nothingness spiraling into everything-ness, pulsing between the opposites of expansion and contraction.

Waves of expression in an ocean of awareness and energy.

You are reality rediscovering itself
your body is the mystery awakening to itself 
you are emptiness, dancing

Let your back body melt like wet clay to the fertile soil underneath you.

Let your front body dissolve open into infinite sky.

You are the channel between the two.

You are the earth sky vessel.

You are infinity vibrating as form.
