We're lighting advent candles at this time of year,
Reminds me that we're waiting for some Christmas cheer,
We celebrate the birth of a baby boy,
Who brought into the world a lot of hope and joy,

The shining stars on a Christmas night start me wondering,
A star of wonder on that Christmas night, welcomed the new born king.

We celebrate our Christmas round the Christmas tree,
Everybody's gathered with their family,
It's good to be together on this special day,
Remembering we're celebrating a birthday,

I'll wish you happy Christmas on this special day,
