One could say Griffin Bourjeaurd is a bit of a musical nomad. Born in Toronto, raised between Texas and BC, and currently residing in Los Angeles, one element that has remained constant throughout his life is music. Growing up with a father in a band, Griffin has been playing instruments for a majority of his life. However, it wasn’t until 2008 when he began producing his own tracks, and shortly after took up the art of DJing. 

Although music has always been his vital passion, it was not something that he considered to do professionally until recent years. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in finance, which he pursued for a few years, Griffin finally made the jump into the music industry and hasn’t looked back since. 

His sound is deeply influenced by blues and today’s mix is one that he holds close to his heart, explaining “For years, I’ve had all these ideas of things I would like to combine from different artists and genres, but never really heard anyone doing it. I decided to make a piece of music with all my own material, combining all my influences – blues, classic rock, techno & house – into one project. This is the first project I’ve ever created with all my own material. It was actually made for my friends and I to listen to after a long night, while watching the sun come up. I was never planning to release it, but here we are!”
