MYR label head Goeran Meyer returns with a superb new vocal track that comes with a remix by Parisian artist Hanna Haïs. German artist Meyer is in a fantastic run of form right now. This is his third single of the year and another one that shows off great studio craftsmanship. It draws on his skills as an audio sculptor, master of melody and someone who brings his live skills to his improvised grooves.

The deft 'Could Not Exist' is a twitchy tech house track with lithe synth sounds and nimble drums. There is a sense of doom in the bold bass notes that is softened by some exquisite strings. Spoken words bring philosophical overtones and when the drums drop again you're carried away into a cosmic world. The instrumental version pairs things back to allow more focus on the rich sound design and inventive rhythm.

Remixer Hanna Haïs has been touring the world as a DJ since 2007. Her productions on labels like Atal and Nite Grooves have been supported by the likes of Black Coffee and with this remix, she impresses once more. It has an epic breakdown that builds plenty of tension and atmosphere before big drums drive onwards beneath a nebulous world of synth details.

This is another artful package of fresh electronic sounds from MYR.

About the Album:
I started writing this collection of tracks inspired by sounds of the deep and wanting to explore the more minimal side of the genre, it's something I'm slowly working towards.
Throughout the album in amongst the clicks, crackles and hiss are the sounds of a scuba diver breathing through their regulator, it's one of the first sounds heard on the release. It was this sound I wanted to use to try and gel the tracks together, with the seven tracks ranging from those that are more dub-inspired, others more introspective and minimal, and others almost dancefloor friendly.

Manual Music presents you three deep intelligent cuts by Roby Deep, Peter Corvaia and Fractal Architect on the first 'Tales From The Deep' EP.

Roby Deep caught our attention with the release of 'Going Under' on Submarine Vibes, a personal favorite last year of Paul Hazendonk, the man behind Manual Music. Paul asked the Slovenian artist to join the Manual family and the result is here; 'Theatre' a deep throbbing builder layered on an acid bassline with delicate snippets of clear melodies breaking through during the entire track.

Peter Corvaia take things even deeper on his Manual debut 'Caspian'. This song breathes intelligence all over and you can clearly hear that Peter has put in a lot of time and effort to create something that special and rich in detail. Proper Manual debut here by the American.

Fractal Architect makes his return on Manual Music after his 2014 debut 'Crystalline' and having had released a mini album on the MNL sublabel in between. 'Espionage' sounds as mysterious as the title suggests. A beautiful warm piece of electronic music to end this release in proper fashion.
