Chris Galloway aka Woodenhorse Provocateur aka the man like Roots Unit has been into this record game for a minute. He's bent our minds with the freshest OG re-edits and productions as one quarter of the Soft Rocks massive, brought us some wonderful modern house, Balearic and downtempo music via his peerless Kinfolk & Vibrations labels and has undoubtedly relieved quite a few of you of some quids in his role as a respected record dealer over the years. 

All of the above activities, as well as a youth spent partying in the midst of the original acid house wave and beyond here in the UK means Chris has a truly open musical mind and some set of ears on him, and through this mix we get to enjoy the fruits of his impeccable taste and collection. 

This one's in a heavy dub mode - if you hadn't guessed already - and by that we mean all shades of dub, from the spatial to the sublime to the unreleased and exotic. It's all here. GGHQ Mix #35 : Esclé - 'A Window To The Sun'

It's been a minute, but we're happy to give you the second GGHQ mix of 2018. Yeah, we know it's been tough since the last one, such is life. 

A beautifully immersing, soothing and rhythmically deep listen this time around courtesy of our friend Scott Gailey, who (alongside partner Yu Su) makes some killer music as - You're Me. We first met Scott in Glasgow where You're Me performed a stellar ambient live set and then on a freezing December night in Vancouver last year where we were lucky enough to catch him and Yu Su perform a second live set at Deep Blue. Both sets were completely different, but both were incredible.

Lorenzo will be familiar to anyone who digs South of the river, and across the city too. The proprietor of Peckham's trusty 'Record Shack', this man puts in serious work to bring us all some interesting, obscure and exotic music, all his effort punctuated by a smile and a warm welcome everytime. 

On top of that, he runs the 'Fly By Night Music' record label, specialising in deep house, afro rarities, heavyweight library business, disco edits and beyond! Lorenzo is a busy man for many reasons, and he doesn't make mixes for people very often, so we're very very pleased to present this killer 'Jump Start' selection to you.
