Welcome to the new era of Constrict Music. We proudly present Unfolding vol. 1, the first in a series of LP compilations.
This release marks a turning point in our journey as we extend our catalog beyond drum & bass territories while keeping it true to our roots.
And what a way to kick it off. For the occasion we've been blessed with a selection of expertly crafted pieces of music that explore remote corners of this break music we hold so dearly in our hearts.
Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Jungle and more await you in a Belgian compilation which aims to encourage diversity in music while leaving a strong underground, deep and emotional imprint.
We're grateful for the chance to work with each artist featured here, and we hope this fragment of music finds you in the right mindset to appreciate it to its true value.

When you think of the music to have emerged from Seattle, grunge and Sub Pop are probably the first things that come to mind. But Seattle was already home to a vibrant alternative music scene back in the 1970s. One of the most prominent synthesizer acts of the period was the trio Young Scientist. Influenced by the likes of Cluster, Harmonia and Tangerine Dream, they released their music exclusively on cassette. We are delighted to present their superb debut album from 1979, the hypnotic-meditative-cyclical "Results Not Answers" on CD and vinyl for the very first time!

From way of Berlin we are very pleased to welcome the 6 piece psychedelic outfit of 2Morph.

Perhaps unknown to many, this group of friends (father & son included) have spent the past two Summer’s travelling the wilderness of Europe in their bus - winding through the hillsides & mountain tops, beaming out their live band freak-outs for select village goers.

This 50 minute cassette of 100% OG material, hauled back from their recent trip to the mystical land of Panaceum (a hidden valley in Germany rumoured to house the elixir of life's ails) is naturally well soaked on a Krautrock tip - with psychedelic hymns & hypnotic percussion, detaching from the linear plane. 

Float down stream & let your mind wander outwards to the healing sounds of 2Morph.

He´s djing under the alias Ahum since 1980. Somebody along the way gave him the name Klakke because he always wear that. 
In 1995 he started his first label Toothpick. 1997 he founded Kraak with some intervals active there upto 2015. 
Since 2016 he´s running Knotwilg which is the main focus. Not only as label but also as a kind of old-school mail-order.
Knotwilg records is a label that acts as a personal portal to accessible experimental music, independent of any particular movement or era. Releasing music and distributing like-minded artists in a contemporary
DIY style. Co-curating concerts, events and the annual Knotwilg festival.
