As soon as Roberta (aka Bob) was old enough to walk, she used to take herself to bed with a Fisher Price cassette player every night and sing herself to sleep. She’s still singing to this day. She also writes songs, performs them on stage, and DJs when she gets bored of that. Originally from the land of Irn Bru, she has since made Bristol her forever home.
Singer, songwriter, DJ, and co-founder of the brilliantly weird Banana Sessions. Roberta Pia sings honest songs about the highs, the lows, humans, the world, and back in the day when jukeboxes weren’t shit. When she’s not singing or writing songs, you can find her behind the wheels of steel - channeling the likes of David Guetta or Paris Hilton - busting out 90s bangers, electro, retro, ghetto, house and techno, weird world music and big fat beats.

Dynamic four piece, Caramel, are bringing new life to the Brighton music scene. The band's sound can be recognised by its explorative and spontaneous nature, inspired by the diverse musicality of acts like Jeff Buckley, Queens of the Stone Age and Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Fronted by lead singers, Jamie Broughton and Olly Parkes, Caramel offers a musical experience that is intricate yet wild, mercurial in feeling and angular in its expression. Playing sold out, headline shows in their hometown of Brighton, the band are riding the current wave of new and interesting sounds that the city is exporting. Caramel can be summed up in part by their multidimensional take on music, their androgynous image, and their love for and engagement with visual mediums such as photography and fine art. Caramel are a postmodern concoction of sounds, colours and vibrations that are refreshing to even the dullest of pallets.
