Following this year’s acclaimed singles ‘Presence’ and ‘Colors of Life’, as well as the upcoming ‘Silk & Fur’ (out September 19), ‘Aelle’ is a masterfully woven collection of tracks that balances the intensity of the dance floor with the intimacy of personal listening. Across twelve tracks, OXIA crafts an evocative sonic palette where melodies and grooves intertwine with moments of emotion, elegance, and timeless beauty.

Speaking about the upcoming album, OXIA commented: “As with my previous albums, I let my creativity run free once again, without setting limits. I wanted to bring together everything I love about electronic music – groove, melodies, emotion, intensity – and blend them with calmer, more reflective tracks”.

‘Aelle’ also highlights OXIA’s collaborative spirit, featuring contributions from long-time friends and creative partners. Faces sees him reunite with label co-founder Nicolas Masseyeff, while ‘Silk & Fur’ and ‘On The Trip’ see him team up with Yannick Baudino. The album also welcomes compelling vocal performances from Hen Wen (Calling The Sun) and Hacène (Silk & Fur).

Musically, the record flows through a rich spectrum: melodic, groove-driven tracks (Nuance, Faces), ethereal pieces laced with emotion (Calling the Sun, Saisons), and moments of deep, poignant melancholy (Aerial). The title track ‘Aelle’ and songs like ‘A Special Day’ and ‘Run’ underline OXIA’s ability to move effortlessly between the club and the heart, creating music with enduring resonance.

With ‘Aelle’, OXIA reaffirms his place at the forefront of electronic music, offering an album that is as captivating on the dance floor as it is profound in personal reflection.

'Selador open their account for 2020 and first in to bat is label supremo Dave Seaman who takes the bull by the horns, kicking some proverbial ass with the memorably titled Donkey Engine. 

This Afro infused slice of rhythmic Melodic Techno first surfaced last year on the labels Ninth Showcase compilation where it shone brightly, picking up a slew of rave reviews and consequently earning itself a well deserved upgrade to this fully fledged single release. 

To kick start the new year in style weve assembled a crack team of producers to take on remix duties starting with an artist who weve been trying to lure for some time and finally managed to nail down, the elusive Doctor Dru. The German turns in a fine specimen of a mix, all pulsating synths and infectious quirkiness. Irresistible. 

Next up, Diynamics leading lady Magdalena comes up trumps with a huge melodic opus that unshackles conventional remix wisdom and steadfastly goes its own way. Were still trying to spot any of the original parts but frankly, who cares when its this good?! 

And last but by no means least, the legends that are the Stereo MCs throw another curveball at proceedings with an assured, left of centre, low slung workout that really does stand apart from the crowd. Consummate craftsmanship. '

Love Drone returns to Soundteller Records with a new two track artist EP. The Italian producer made his debut on the Polish imprint in July with the well received ‘Nova’ EP. Subsequent releases via KDB, Revolt Music and Roundans have made for a prolific year. Now bringing his unique creative process back to Soundteller, Love Drove presents ‘Luna’.

The sounds of ‘Godspeed’ set the tone for the release with a cosmic narrative that resonates brightly. Elastic-like arps and rolling rhythms set the piece in motion as timely modulation and percussive splashes build anticipation. Drone-like tones and electric lines dominate a short break, perfectly setting up a series of epic chord changes and fluttery synth phrasing, before a second break provides a tranquil calm leading into a gorgeous finale.

Rounding out the release is the tasteful musicality of ‘Ode to Luna’. Tepid beats, chugging basslines and precise percussion unite for a fluid rhythmic core. Minimal at points and boisterous at others, the loud vs. soft approach works well in creating dynamic moments during the first act, before eventually melting down to a heartfelt centrepiece. Definitely one to close a set or the night with, it’s reflective qualities are strong and most certainly cap the release off on a high note. Highly recommended.
