“As the Temple was burning, fire tornadoes spiraled up into the new moon sky. The dust storm grew stronger and stronger. Walking through what felt like a parallel dimension, the mystical deer appeared.

I feel honored to have soundtracked this sacred moment on my favorite art car, the Maxa Xaman. This set is dedicated to those who left something in the Temple and anyone currently moving through grief. May we trust the process, feel what we need to feel, and rise from the ashes with love and courage.

Special thanks to the Maxa & Mayan Warrior families for your trust, to everyone who joined this sonic dance, and to music, our timeless guide.

Siberian producer and modular synth enthusiast Roman Spin @romanspin unveils his latest sonic exploration: Noise Inspiration EP — a deep and immersive journey through dub techno and ambient textures. The release opens with the title track Noise Inspiration — a raw and emotional dub techno piece built on hypnotic rhythms, swirling echoes, and deep low-end movement. Its followed by Improvisation, a stunning ambient composition filled with evolving soundscapes and atmospheric depth, showcasing Romans intuitive approach to modular synthesis and live experimentation. I always found it challenging to record a studio podcast: my analytical mind is trying to calculate every move, evaluate each transition & criticize the selection. I have time, music & equipment at my disposal, but one key element is missing to really tell a story: humans.

I encountered that problem last weekend. Although I was playing music I enjoy, I felt that my technically structured mix was too stiff and impersonal. 

____

Then, some of my favourite humans turned up at the studio. As Ashley, Apolline, Axel & Robin entered the room, the studio was suddenly filled with a great energy & I felt like pressing the rec button again, just for fun - this is when the first minutes of  S y m b i o s e  were captured.

I feel this studio mix is an authentic representation of the energy levels I like to navigate through during a longer set. It features some of my favourite tracks in a nod to the past but also has a touch of the future; new sounds that are moving me forward & some of my new compositions.

I’m happy to share this mix as I’m taking off for Argentina, what marks my first adventure of the decade. This music session brought me clarity, presence & joy! I hope you'll resonate with it.

Artist Info:
Madota is the musical lovechild of urban shepherds Behnam & Mehran. Iranian by birth, Canadian by upbringing, these two have come a long way from their own journeys before reuniting in Berlin.

What we know is that their deeply rooted love for electronic music led them to storm Vancouver's nightlife as DJs since 2011 which in turn prepared them to start their experimentation with making music that pulls influences from their hyphenated backgrounds. Their music captures their subtle lust for colorful and organic sounds coupled with their itch for darker forward-leaning grooves.

Their music has already taken them to perform numerous times in legendary gatherings such as Katerblau in Berlin, ZERO in NYC, Acidcase in Berlin and Woomoon in Ibiza. They continue to nurture their lovechild in Berlin with releases on labels such as Get Physical, Kindisch and Kiosk I.D.
