From Beyond - Faster Than Light EP

Reconstruir das Ruínas (rebuild from the ruins) is a compilation created by 25 musicians from the Lisbon underground electronic scene, including Xinobi, Vil, Dan Ghenacia, Kaspar, and many more. They are kindly donating their tracks with all proceeds being donated to União Audiovisual (uniaoaudiovisual.pt) - an association working on providing support and essential goods to artists and audiovisual professionals affected by the pandemic. 

Music has the power of bringing people together and here, it plays a major role in rebuilding our future from the rubble left behind by this pandemic. We were blessed to be free to party before and we shouldn’t let the sense of nostalgia translate into despair; we should use it as a positive driving force pushing us to look forward: nothing will be the same but, if we work together, it can only get better. 

The release is proudly produced by the Ruínas collective.

Mit der Eventserie "Electric Magic Disco Bongo" hat er vor Rona das Nachtleben in Graz und Wien mit qualitativen Bookings belebt. Ganz heißer Tipp für die Abendplanung nach dem Stillstand ;-)

Alex Wastnidge, better known as From Beyond, is a music producer and DJ based in East London. Since 2018, he has been prolific in building an array of widely praised solo releases, starting with an EP via the legendary Paper Recordings, and more recently seeing his output grace the back catalogues of Tronik Youth’s Nein Records and James Rod’s Golden Soul.

Across both his original productions and remix work, Wastnidge has crafted a distinctive blend of acidic, spaced-out nu-disco. His style primarily takes cues from 1980s electro-funk, Italo disco and synth-pop, but at the same time embodies a forward-thinking approach, borrowing and building upon the innovations of intervening eras in the process.

His expansive knowledge of electronic music is also put to good use via his Data Transmission Radio show, which has been streaming on a monthly basis since early 2018.
Despite still being a relatively new name, Wastnidge’s releases as From Beyond have taken little time to win plaudits from some of dance music’s most respected figures, among them Justin Robertson, Jerry Bouthier and Sean Johnston, as well as publications such as Mixmag and Le Visiteur.

Rheinzand - Break Of Dawn (Das Komplex Remix) - 0276

Mötel is back with a new 80's disco-pop inspired track 'Pacific Sun'. This is a new single born form a collaboration between Mötel and Miya, a singer/songwriter artist who has worked with some big names such as Universal Poland, Sony, Cloud 9, Ultra and BecauseTv. 
Pacific Sun is a mellow and velvety track, like the evening air at the beach along the Pacific Ocean, spiked with plenty of synth and simmering bass. It's the sound of a bittersweet summertime, it makes you want to head back to the shoreline sit down on the rocks and listen to the sound of the crashing waves.

Mötel feat. Miya - Pacific Sun [Instrumental]

Citizens Of Vice racks up release number Thirty Two and for this EP we have the oh so excellent ‘Bonnie & Klein’. The greek duo will be familiar to fans of the label following a multitude of releases on like minded labels inc Music For Dreams, Leng and Nu Northern Soul.

‘Bourbon Street' is the release in question and features two new tracks ‘Bourbon Street' and 'Lobby Love'. Both tracks are beautifully constructed balearic delights. If you close your eyes and are of a certain age these could sonically transport you back to the late 80’s on a certain island.

On the remix front we have two of our favourite producers adding their own ideas to the OG’s. Coyote and Rayko who have both released and remixed on COV are back with their remix caps on and shake up the originals with their uniques flavours.
