“Poor Wanda the hen / Not the first in line, but far from the end” — The third single from 2023’s Workingman’s Guma (released 10/20/23 on Gold Robot Records) lands among feathers and fur as songwriter T.J. Masters lovingly weaves between the stories of two animal companions, each out for themselves but inseparably linked by his amateur husbandry. With a twinkle-eyed lyricism that suggests an alternate history in which George Harrison went down the Mississippi in 1968 to write with John Hartford instead of up the Hudson to Dylan, “Poor Wanda” brims with pastoral tenderness woven into a dense and deftly-picked acoustic setting. One of four songs cut for the album in a single day with minimal overdubbing, the tune captures the energy of a bespoke band learning, developing, and recording a song all in the span of just a couple hours; an old school, live-in-the-room style of recording that has come to characterize most Guma releases.

Dear producers and music lovers , We all struggle sometimes when it come to found the first Chords or Bass sounds and we really wanna go straight to the point when it comes to ideas and creations..that’s why I choosed only the best sounds from my Prophets REV 2 & PRO 800 so I had this idea of recording some Chords & Stabs and One Shot Basslines  straight from those legendary and warm synth using my home made presets :-) 

They are recorded dry and not mastered so you will have the true sounds coming from those Synths .

For each Chords and Bass sounds you will found the progressions separately on each folder ready to drag and drop into your DAW or Rhythm Machines like an MPC , Maschine as all the sounds are in Wave cuted one by one by myself with LOVE ❤️‍🔥

All samples are minutiously recorded and edited in the best conditions possible here at Real Tone Studios for you to get an instant pleasure jamming with those Sounds .

I made two Demos .. One is with some examples of each Chords & Stabs wich are 37 sounds played randomly using a space echo just to give some space to the sound a little MPC drum loop to show you in condition how they sound.

Same thing for the Bass Sounds.. 21 Bass Sounds with their progressions aswell played randomly thru the Space Echo.

In Total you will have 823 Chords , bBss & Stabs in your DAW or MPC in a minute ready for action..
