Dj Grid is one of the rising stars of the Disco, Funk scenes in Seoul,
and is also well-known as a  member of Disco Experience and resident of B-one lounge in Itaewon.
We met him in a chilling Sunday evening at a Rice-noodle bar near Itaewon.
He showed up with his signature, long hairstyle with his   new-era and the interview went on.

RETROPE는 하우스 음악으로 디제이를 시작하여 최근엔 디스코 크루 FRUITURE에서 커리어를 이어가고 있다. 현재는 채널1969에서 레지던트 디제이로도 활약중이다. 디스코, 누디스코, 하우스를 넘나들며 플레이하고 들려주는 걸 즐긴다.

2015년부터 그는 “I HATE MONDAY”라는 타이틀의 믹스셋 시리즈를 만들어 지금까지 이어오고 있다. 매달 마지막 주 일요일에 발표되는 믹스셋에서는 그가 파티에서 들려주는 음악에서부터 평소 즐기는 칠(chill)한 튠들, 그 외에도 그가 그 시기에 빠져있는 여러 음악들을 들을 수 있다.

작년부터는 특정 컨셉과 타이틀을 정하여 믹스셋과 작가의 시각적인 작품을 결합한 아트상품을 만들고 있으며, 계절마다 여러 작가들과 협업을 통해 이 프로젝트를 지속적으로 이어나가고 있다.
