Our guest this week flies in from Belgium, where he works as a DJ and produces deliciously infectious grooves in his studio too. 
He had his first release in June 2020 on Midnight Riot with “Chocolate” and when we heard him on Mango Sounds with his pumping “Wanna Be With You” we were sold.

Black Light Disco returns to the myhouseradio.fm airwaves with wind turbines set to ‘Full On’ to enter our disco slipstream. 

Starting things off for this week’s show is our host and BLD resident, Goz - fresh from a gruelling transatlantic trip to fix the phase emitters at the top of BLD Towers. Expect some corkers to be pulled out of his rucksack of grooves! 

Our guest this week is Italian DJ, producer / remixer - the one and only Mauro Vecchi! 

Mauro has been self-confessed rhythm addict since the 1990s, and preaches the word of funk, disco, soulful house and anything with a groovy feeling and positive vibe. His sets spin from downtempo grooves up to quality disco/house, from vinyl to digital it makes no difference to him; the most important thing is good music! Mauro's passion for music shines through in everything he does. Always active in programming for clubs and events in his area and beyond, Mauro’s music can be heard on monthly shows including Uptown Disco Session in U-FM Radio (Rome), The Word Is Groove -  Radio RapTZ (Paris) and in his very popular Mixcloud channel.

Mauro also started his own Bandcamp page where you can find plenty of tasty edits and remixes, but above all he publishes first official tracks on And Friends Records and place some edits in prestigious collections like Discoholics Anonymous and Yacht Disco Edits / Too Slow To Disco.
A regular artist appearing on the excellent ‘And Friends’ VA series, Discoholics Anonymous Recordings and the prestigious Too Slow To Disco Series, Mauro is fully immersed in all things groovy and we are so delighted to have him on for his BLD debut. You’re gonna love it!!

This week's Spin City Show that aired on 9th May 2021 on myhouseradio.fm saw the 2nd week of our Disco Walton takeover.
