Yeahlena, being HEAVY DUTY Mama (monthly show on radio80k.de) and ACE TONE Schwester (@acetone-records) is usually known for bass driven sounds of various styles, which reflect her early musical influences of listening to local Russian pirate radio in the early 2000's.

Employee is co-running Tax Free Records (@taxfreerec), where he recently dropped a dope and dubby EP together with DJ 2Beers.

"Points of Light” is the debut album from Sơn FM, consisting of Nic Ford and Attiss Ngo. After being part of the Vinyan cassette, the Vietnam-based duo returns to Siamese Twins Records with the label's first album in 2xLP format. 

The album is an ode to patterns of nature that are repetitive but never quite identical. Playing with the endless possibilities of phase-shifting is at the core of Sơn FM's heavy ambient sound, shaped by their signature live performances across art galleries or surrounded by nature. Weaving dreamy kinetic sound tapestries into morphing texture movements. Analog synthesizers loops slowly decay and unfurl, ranging from melodic elements to droning sequences in a fourth world atmosphere. 

This is music for inward journeys and exploring the interstices between cosmic patterns. Commanding harmonies evolve in soft-focus, phase-shifting soundscapes reminiscent of how sound is perceived underwater, at mountain summits, in the womb, or in altered states. Resembling liminal spaces between places, like dreams that haven't been dreamt yet or forgotten visions at the edge of consciousness, gently corralling its audience towards transcendental points of light.

Opfern is the result of hours of music sent to us in the winter of 2021 by Calum Mcleod, mainly known for his work as one half of the techno duo Clouds, but presenting here his first solo work as Power Inc. Released as a double cassette & digital album, Opfern explores amorphous drift over nine long-form tracks that evolve & devolve in a slow state of flux, with sound sources and samples smudged to the point of degradation and abstraction, revealing a compelling and affecting mix of digital artefacts, psychoacoustics, plaintive melodies & fizzing soundscapes.

The soundscape composition: “Preemptive Listening Perspective, North Sea” is a pre-warning signal soundscape about the increasing numbers of windmills and their related activities on the North Sea as a solution for “sustainability by electrification”. It is meant to create more awareness, discussions, research and thinking about the (acoustic) ecological impacts on different levels, above and under-water, for (fisher)man, marine live, sea flora,  present day and future. Rethinking the possible positive and negative effects.  And what will be the including effects of climate changes, changing water temperatures of the North Sea, the grow and migration of new species, effects on oceans on a more global scale. What will sustain, grow, migrate and remain in the (sound) habitat of the North Sea?

You hear:  sounds and signals from the North Sea: the Belgium pre-alarm with Dutch Sirenes,  cats bell, and other (alarming) sounds, animal sounds: humpback whale, porpoise, seal, the musical vocalizations of their rhythmic way of communication, rumbling sounds of large windmills  in a gliding perspective.

“Preemptive Listening Perspective, North Sea” is inspired by the “Preemptive Listening film / project” of Aura Satz.

The composition will be part of the Listening Session: "Resonant Ecology" (30 - 10 -'25.) to explore communication beyond the human-across species, systems and technologies; a collaboration of Murmur-contemporary and the Swiss Society for Acoustic Ecology (EU member organisation of the World Forum of Acoustic Ecology).
