Wilt thou hide thyself for ever?

Thy Wrath Is Come

O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.(Psa 9:6)
But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.(Psa 9:7)

It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.(Pro 21:15)

And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.(Isa 30:18)

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:(Rom 5:1)
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.(Rom 5:2)

Matthew 14

28And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

29And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

30But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

31And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

32And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

33Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

Fierce Wind

And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.(Mat 4:18)

Fish Of The Sea

Matthew 19:4-6

Ephesians 5:22-33

Revelation 5
1And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 

2And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? 

3And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. 

4And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. 

5And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Who is worthy?

It is something to think about:  does God get angry?  He has demonstrated His wrath in the past by a global flood.  He is the judge of the world, of us all. BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS:

He is merciful in Jesus Christ.  We all have sinned.  God is perfectly holy.  He will judge all wrongdoing.  We all have done wrong.  He is perfectly just.  He will not stand idly by as evil is done, He will address and judge evil.  He has demonstrated this, there is evidence for the global flood around the world.  He is perfectly merciful.  We are not righteous, He is.  He has provided for us.  He has provided for us His righteousness that we can accept by faith.  We can have peace with God through Jesus.

When one places their faith in Jesus Christ, believes on Him, they are saved.  The one that believes in Jesus is eternally saved.  When you place your faith in Jesus, you believe that He died on the cross for your sins, and He rose again, you are placing your faith in the very grace of God through Jesus.  He paid the price for your sin.  You are a new creature in Him.  You do not accomplish this or hold unto this by any work of your own.  

Now, when place your faith in Jesus Christ, YOU ARE SAVED ETERNALLY.  We can now keep our eyes on Jesus and be at peace with God.  We can rest in Him.  We do not have to work for salvation.  Jesus does call us to love Him and love our neighbor as ourselves.  How do we do this?

Eph 2:8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 
Eph 2:9  Not of works, lest any man should boast. 
Eph 2:10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
