I'm just looking to make some music that sounds great and is not lame, but I have just 1 the drummer (HappyJack, he's gonna be legendary) to jam with consistently at the moment. If you're in the area looking for guitaryness that I can do, contact me if you're into it. I like funk, soul, folk, most kinds of rock, jazz, jam-band, blues, hip-hop, and many other different types of musical fusion. Spirit music is what I call it. Anything with spirit is what I go for. By Spirit I mean like a horse that hasn't been broken yet, nothing very mystical. I want to combine the ever growing electronic element in music to the rich tradition of improvised instrumental music. Songwriting and singing have become passions of mine that I want to dedicate my life to improving as well. More to come, this is all just preliminary stuff. Bare with me people....

Amateur Arts Productions is a collective of Artists of various degrees, genres, techniques, cultures, ideologies, etc.. In the spirit of the many amateur artists that came before us and paved the way to new experiences such as Henry Darger, Charles Darwin, Gregor Mendel, William Shakespeare, Leonardo da Vinci, Grote Reber and Guglielmo Marconi, just to name a few;  Amateur Arts Productions' goal is to seek out, create, produce and distribute original, unknown and/or undiscovered "art". By using the word "Amateur" to describe our arts production we are implying that an amateur may be in a position to approach a subject with an open mind and therefore will be able to provide themselves and their audience a free and original experience unclouded by formal skill/training and financial concerns/worries.  Amateurs are serious about the work they do, providing outstanding examples of contributions to society. But whereas professionals obtain licenses as their “measurability of the excellence of service provided”, amateurs break taboos by loving their work. From here, it can be argued that, to the extent amateurs threaten the professional industry by providing free services, the professional industry has an interest in making its counterpart amateur activity shameful.
