[FR] Caio Taborda aka Caio T est un ami de longue date. Basé à São Paulo, Caio T est quelqu’un avec qui on a déjà vécu plusieurs aventures...Les soirées Gop Tun, Carnaval, Bahia, festivals, des salles de réunion, et tant d’autres coins. On a de la chance, au dé-là d'être cette superbe personne, Caio T est un artiste qui nous fait bien kiffer. Pas seulement pour sa versatilité en tant que DJ qui mixe et connaît un peu de tout, mais aussi pour son rôle majeur en tant que créateur et agent culturel dans la scène brésilienne. 

Actif depuis plus de 10 ans, Caio T s’investit et transforme les dancefloors à travers le Brésil et participe à l' orga du collectif Gop Tun, qui à son tour inscrit cette scène électronique de São Paulo sur la carte. Caio T est capable de naviguer entre plusieurs genres pendant ses sets avec une inspiration forte de la house des années 90, la disco (italo) et le balearic. Pour ce 6ème set de la Furie Family, Caio T nous amène à un voyage bien tropical à travers ses influences et sa recherche musicale. Des pépites anciennes de la musique brésilienne tels qu’un remix de DJ Raffa, l’un des précurseurs de la funk carioca (Rio) des années 80, en passant par des tracks fraîchement sorties par des amis comme le français Gilb'R, les Good Block, voir même Barbara Boeing.

Para nossa sorte, além de ser esse grande cara, Caio é o tipo de artista que piramos. Não apenas por sua versatilidade como DJ, tocando e entendendo de tudo “um muito”, mas também por todo o seu papel como criador e agente cultural no Brasil. 

DJ ativo há mais de 10 anos, Caio T atua e transforma pistas Brasil afora e planeja os próximos passos do coletivo Gop Tun, que vem moldando e dando protagonismo mundial à cena paulistana de música eletrônica. Caio T é capaz de transitar entre os mais variados estilos e gêneros em suas apresentações, com uma forte inclinação para o house dos anos 90, disco (italo), baleárico. Para o sexto set da Furie Family, Caio T nos promete uma viagem bem tropical em meio à sua pesquisa musical. De raridades brasileiras como um remix do DJ Raffa, precursor do funk carioca dos anos 80, passando por tracks recém-lançadas por amigos como o francês Gilb'R, os Good Block e mesmo Barbara Boeing.

We love to see our friends spread their wings and fly far and wide towards distant horizons with a mind filled with ideas, a future teeming with plans and a bag full of records, especially when they are imbued with that mission of taking with them some of what makes our music and their enjoyment so special around here across the world. The guest we are happy to present this week is a long time friend and a steady presence in most of our musical endeavours, be it at the booth or the dancefloor, who now calls the stunning landscapes of the province of Lyon his home but hasn't lost his globetrotting impetus. Part of the collective Furie, Pedro Bertho is the type of selector who can surreptitiously put us all into a frenzy to then take us to calmer places in a matter of just a few tracks, the main trait of the type of steersman to whom we trust our minds and bodies to be taken through states that can be mood altering as well as life changing. Nothing short of what could be expected from a selector so devoted to the art.

Having caused quite a stir with various releases on renowned labels such as Permanent Vacation or Touch From A Distance, Austrialian brothers Peter and James Isaacs, better known under their artist moniker Donald's House, mixed and compiled the latest edition of the art:cast special series. Therefore the duo flawlessly put together more than two hours of music with a Disco- and House-touch that is meant to make the non-exisiting audience in a club dance or how Donald's House said: “[We] tried to do what we play in a club, if there were a clubs for us to play.“ And the journey couldn't be more versatile and intense than this musical piece, without a break or without a chance to gasp for air Donald's House skillfully maneuvers the listener through their approach of putting together music. That's not only how the both like it but everyone else.
