Following up on last year’s debut release, Chontane returns with 'Manx', the second EP on his label, TANE. 
This five-track collection continues his exploration of sound design, moving into fresh territory while retaining the distinctive energy that marked TANE001. With TANE002, Chontane invites listeners into a diverse sonic landscape, emphasizing mood, texture, and the subtle intricacies of rhythm.

On 'Gazebo,' the EP’s A2 track, Chontane shifts the energy, delivering a composition that balances driving rhythms with a melodic core. The combination of dynamic drums with an
epic, mystical theme creates a piece that’s both uplifting and introspective, standing out for its ability to evoke grandeur while maintaining a sense of optimism.

Verschwender’s  new ep thus begins takeoff. “No puedo mas” plagued with satellite pangs and an interfered radio transmission, a jarring voice feigning exhaustion against hammering percussion.

 Such g-force carries through in “As above so below” and “Tomorrow will be better”, where we are treated to an onslaught of balanced atonality and nosebleed drumfire. Leaving ample space for psychoacoustic hallucinations in the form of crying voices and intercepted signals that taper of after a glitched climax in the deft brokenness of “Purista Furioso”

Re-imaginations of the originals come from the hands of Boyd Schidt, who maneuvers noise showers and slicing hi-hats through the opening track, and JANEIN, balancing the atmospheres in between wormhole and k-hole.
