This is the last playlist of 2017. Pretty slim pickings this week, as most people seem to be packing up for Christmas. There's still some good stuff to be had, though. Black Gold Buffalo, which starts things, is a real grower, and the vocalist on Honeyfeet reminds me of Frazey Ford. Things continue in a soulful vein with Murray Lake, before the jangly guitar pop of Anna Burch takes us into this week's electronic segment with James Hoden, a remix of Tiga, and George Fitzgerald. Imarhan's desert blues then provide the final transition into the reggaefied soul of DJ Vadim & Blackstone before closing out with Bandulu Dub. Pick of the week? I really like George Fitzgerald and Honeyfeet, but Anna Burch gets the nod.
