A rejected cover request from Lazerpunk turned parody.

"I was working on a Lazerpunk song a cover of Black Lambo. The cover turned out so radically different from the original that in the end it was scrapped as the original was not recognizable in it. Since I spent some time on it, I figured it should not go to waste so I went all out parody mode and changed it even more and decided to release it. Hope you like my Beige Wartburg. This isn't out of spite, so no hard feelings Gábor, love ya!"

1982 on 30th of November Michael Jackson released his legendary "Thriller" album. "Beat it" was the first foray into rock that helped dismantle barriers of genre and race in popular music.

Now 37 years later Quixotic teamed up with LeBrock from the other side of Europe for this epic cover. Quixotic crossed the pop hit with synthwave and metal, Shaun Phillips (LeBrock) vocals kept the essence what made original so catchy and Quixotic's guitar hero Miklos Czifra did justice to Eddie Van Halen's solo.
