Electronic, Minimal-wave project from San Diego, California



Neurobit is an experimental project working in the fields of improvised micro sound collages and ambient soundscapes. The Neurobit sound consists of soundscapes, drones, pulses and noises created by using sound generators and micro sampling. The sound is based on minimal suites made by using 4bit, 8bit, & LCD console sounds. In the past Neurobit already released his works on labels like Enfant Terrible, Alphacut Records, Marasm , Retinascan, True Chip Till Death, TIBProd & R.O.N.F. Records. Neurobit played at various fesivals, art spaces and concert nights including Gogbot Festival, GBM New York, Lowcycle Barcelona, Bloodnok Tour Russia/Lithuania, Mediamatic Amsterdam, Affaire Festival Nijmegen.

Stefan Brunner is known as DJ Stefan in the Nuremberg gothic scene. Since 2006 he has been playing at various events in several gothic clubs and parties, such as "Children of the Night" and "Music for devoted people". His sound focuses in the dark genres such as industrial, aggrotech, dark wave, future pop, EBM.

Stefan Brunner ist bisher als DJ Stefan in der Nürnberger Gothic-Szene bekannt. Seit 2006 legt er in Clubs zu verschiedenen Veranstaltungen im Bereich der schwarzen Szene auf, wie z.B. Jim Dumproff : Synthesizer artist from the San Francisco area. Active during the 1980s. Died at age 37 in 1992. His musical work can be divided into two phases:

- 1982-85: Evil Force demo tape - a compilation of home-recorded synthesizer instrumentals. Mostly monotonous and minimalistic. A few tracks show aggressive potential.

- 1986 - 87: Jim Dumproff (vocals, lyrics, synths) in collaboration with Ben Ackley (synths, programming, recording).
