Decarbonising Aviation

     This song was written back in 2015 and it's one of my spiritual songs! It's about Faith and Hope and Prayer. I usually don't post any of my religious songs but it being so close to Christmas, I decided to share it with all my viewers and supporters. Charlie sang it beautifully back in 2015 and he played the harmonica as well, he did a great job! There are a lot of solos and a lot of key changes in this song, it's really more complex than I originally thought. The video was done earlier this year for this Christmas.

       This song I wrote back in 2018 for Christmas/New Years time. It's another of my sugary, corny, feel good song that we all need right about now. I don't know what the future holds for us but I do remember how it used to be and how it used to be was fine with me! Charlie sang this one around the same time he sang "Autumn Woods".          As in every New Year's Eve we like to remember good friends and family and hope that the New Year is better than the old one but I'm not too sure that will happen anymore! All It Takes is A Smile (+ video)

This song I wrote way back in 2003 about the little lies that lurk in between the lines that people say sometimes or that you say to yourself too! I was in between marriages and was in a full-blown mid-life crisis mode at the time! 😂 6 years of way too much partying! It was fun while it lasted though! 😉 I re-recorded it during the pandemic and sang it myself. Sorry about that! Here's the video link:

I was talking to Vinny Vaccarro today.. Apparently his boys are really into guitar now. They like to do riffs.. He says they dont much care about playing the whole song... just learning the riffs.. like the opening to Zepplin Black Dog and stuff like that..  I told him ... " you know, you can build a whole song around one really good riff.. or one spooky chord.. or one brilliant mistake ".

Thats how this song was born.. the opening chord is this funky twisted dissonant tripe chord with some spastic finger picking... it was as if I wasof I just discovered .. yeah..  And within this song lies the name of one of the bands I formed. " Ruddy Nickel ".. But the theme is a recurring one.. broke and pitiful.

And last but not least.. the title was spelled correctly ... BY ME.. for the first time ever.. that's because the recording engineer was a med student and had any number of $9 college words stashed in his formidable cranium. He used to really like my songs.. and then one day he said  " You know.. I figured out what it is you do "..  I only wish he would have let me in on it..
