With a career spanning over 25 years, Leeds based DJ & Love Not Money Records owner Luke Pompey has experienced a lot in that time. He graced the decks at Ibizan super club Cream, Amnesia at 18 years old then 2 years later supported Tiesto when Galaxy FM invited him to play Privilege. He's played to crowds in excess of 10,000+ alongside the biggest names in the industry, had his productions supported by the likes of Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Solomon, and Pete Tong who featured both his remix of Dennis Ferrer's "Hey Hey" and Real Nice & Cubiq's 'Had Enough' on the Radio 1 essential selection.
Residing in Leeds, home to the UK's most vibrant clubbing scenes, he held a long standing residency at the cities most established club, Mint, which offered amazing opportunities playing back2back with The Martinez Brothers and Hot Since 82 and touring various brands at Festivals such as Glade, Glastonbury, Creamfields & Secret Garden Party.

As owner of 'Love Not Money Records', he turned the label in to one of the House scenes most talked about new music outputs. Launching 2011 the label found its feet among the dance elite. Releasing over 200 tracks from the likes of Hot Since 82, Darius Syrossian, Max Chapman and Robert James while gaining support worldwide on BBC Radio 1, Capital FM and Ibiza Global Radio. Racking up 15 Beatport top 100's along the way.

It was in 2015 when things really started to pick up for Corey when a video aired on Facebook of Patrick Topping playing ‘Corey Barker - Love Life’ at Hideout in Croatia. This track was then featured in Mixmag under Patrick Topping’s ‘top 5 Ibiza slammers’ & then went on to reach 11th in the Beatport deep house chart & 34th position overall. From here he played twice for ABODE at Studio338 (in the loft and on the mighty terrace!) 

Corey, like many northern youths got into dance music via happy hardcore scene but his tastes quickly shifted once he spent the season of 2010 in Ibiza & attended nights such as Circoloco where artists like Jamie Jones, Rhadoo & tINI truly drew him in & inspired him. After this he attended all the renowned clubs & festivals across the globe, absorbing the way of the dancefloor, whilst continually honing in his production craft. 

Very early on in his career he was getting a lot of self-earned support of his tracks, many were played out in various clubs across Europe. It wasn’t long before he was swiftly dishing out his own style of energetic groovy Tech House with catchy vocals and trippy FX, which earnt him a lot of respect in the Hull underground circuit & all the friends and contacts he had met during his travels. Going on to be a resident for ‘déjà vu’ & ‘Illicit’ in Hull he quickly got the hang of mixing under pressure and played alongside some of the biggest names in the industry such as wAFF, Denney, Audiojack, Flashmob, Leftwing & Kody, Dale Howard & Chris Cue. Corey also played a set at Kanya Beach Pool Party, Ibiza.
