Hot on the heels of his last outing for the Delsin house series comes this, another essential new offering from German producer Erdbeerschnitzel. The experienced producer has many skills in his arsenal and this new EP proves that once again. 

The title track 'The Ample Waters' is a joyous and lively concoction that fuses curious melodies with busy little piano stabs and more trilling, sunny melodies. It's busy house for bustling dancefloors and next up, 'Never Tilt' slows things down with jumbled, woody percussion falling over lazy drums and stretched, yawning synth smears. Colourful and effervescent, it's a track that makes you want to shake your limbs. 

'With Level Hopes' is again characterised by melodic colour, with pixelated patterns stretched over a funky, gooey bassline and clacking percussion. There's a beautifully DIY feel to the loosely assembled track that gives it a life all of its own before closer 'Yet Unfulfilled' pairs slo-mo beats with neo-soul vocal snippets, lazy and stoned summer chords. It's the most emotive of the lot, but all four tracks are truly feel good jams that have come just in time for some serious summer action.

If you like piña coladas and sun drenched boat parties, then this Panthera Krause EP on Lobster Theremin should right up your street. The LT dudes really haven't held back on their release schedule this year, and are certainly moving away from being 'ones to watch' and becoming a certified household name.

Following her acclaimed releases on Moblack Records, including the widely supported Kukaya and Starlight EPs, CLARAA brings her signature blend of Afro House, melodic techno, and Afro tech to Nzara, weaving rich grooves and evocative melodies into this bold and thought-provoking track.

Parisian dance music veteran DJ Koyote has just reactivated his Supergenius imprint and the first release is a split EP featuring two tracks of his and two others produced by Brittany luminary Christophe Le Gall aka Too Smooth Christ. The Koyote sound has distinctive live feel : you can visualize him jamming over his keyboards – and having fun at it. Seine St Denis Hills is a dark house tune with an eighties plastic sheen and ominous vibe, yet it has an almost comical simplicity to it that makes it unmissable.
The same vaguely parodic but at the same time very serious sensation keeps vibrating in the second track, «Poly800 Bass», a roaming stomper with just a few elements but massive impact. TSC’s «Face Reality» is a more hyperactive affair, but shares the eighties urban music inspiration : freestyle synths and raw deep house bass are all over the place. «Arp-Emogol-Peggio» stays in the edgy, angular electronic zone but adds a mysterious touch to this honest-to-goodness EP. Those four tracks are native speakers of the dance language and manage to use it per- fectly with no need to get sophisticated, over produced or post-modern. They just make you feel the right way. Something Sanctified delivers an absolute gem with Direct Sunlight on new lable Citizens of Vice. Lush pianos carry us into melodic house heaven from beginning to end. Stunning indeed.


'Citizens Of Vice' is a new label that is not trying to take itself to seriously. For it's debut release it kicks off with a sampler that bookends it's musical demographic. Disco, House and Balearic vibes with a nod to the heady days that have inspired the labels creation. 'In Flagranti' kick things off with a rugged modern Disco affair. This is followed by our very own ode to the infamous Ibizan venue `Pikes'. Somethin' Sanctified follow with a piano heavy roller that will have hands in the air a plenty. Plastic Fantastic then slow things down with some seriously mellow vibes.. This release represents what we are about as a label and showcases four acts that encompass a sound template of where we will go on future releases.
