This lecture discusses key ideas from the modern empiricist philosopher David Hume' Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding

It focuses specifically on what distinguishes what goes on in our belief that something is the case or is real, from the workings of the imagination or fancy.  In Hume's view the key difference is that belief is accompanied by a feeling or sentiment associated with it.
