Lukas Midub - Mystery Flame Dub

The summer of 2008, the Echo Inspectors are touring Germany. One of their stops lands them in Koln, after getting their fix of record shopping at Kompakt they would meet up at a local bar with Pawas who just remixed their latest record. Joining the guys for a mid afternoon beer would be local producer and friend of Pawas, Adam Kroll.

Fast forward to 2020 and Adam would reappear on the radar as Adam K.Roll with a fresh new dub sound, completely different to the minimal techno records of the mid 2000’s. This fresh take on dub would capture the interest of the Echo Inspectors.

Many DM’s later would lead to Adam producing five fresh tunes for Primary Colours.

Trying to describe Adam’s music is not easy. Adam seamlessly blends the sounds of Dub Techno, Ambience, Electronica, Jamaican Dub and an infusion of summer island sounds.

Primary Colours has the honour of re-releasing one of their favourite Adam K.Roll tunes, Into The Ocean, initially released digitally on Adam’s on Bandcamp page, Into the Ocean has been reborn on wax. We loved it so much that we got the Echo Inspectors to remix it into a formidable dub techno groover.

Kick back, sip on a fine whiskey, light a little number and immerse your aural senses to the sounds of The Final Call.

A modern musician who combines different genres and styles in his work, such as electronics, ambient, dub. The nickname is R.Hz, which means “hertz” - a unit of sound frequency. R.Hz is known for his experimental and atmospheric compositions that give the listener the feeling of being immersed in another world. His music is inspired by nature, space, philosophy and poetry. He also collaborates with other musicians and artists. R.Hz continues to experiment with sound and explore new horizons of musical art. Roman founded his own digital label Polysphere.

Long delayed chords lull you into a peaceful mid-set trance while the beat is sure to move your body. Sibling's 'Valhalla' rises from the depths with a fantastic bassline and metallic spheres drenched in echo. A heady and busy track that really makes you take notice. On the second side is 'Evolution' by Federsen and it has a more traditional dub approach. The groove is addictive here. Sounds dip and swell in a master class of subliminalism. Genning's 'Q.3' closes out the first Exposure Series EP with a more modern approach. Pure floorfiller here!
