Mood Series #72 titled 'Locked Doors' comes to us courtesy of the very talented and upcoming Ajnkana. '5 19' is a super cool opener that has the perfect amount of tech and smoothness to it. Heady but restrained. Hypnotizing, yet it is pushing the boundaries of the rhythm constantly. Pure class right there. '6 58' is a journey deep into the subconscious. A bold chord beginning soon leaves as a more muted technique plays tricks on your sense. Down deep as you sync in this abyss of audio euphoria. Powerful sounds from Ajnkana. '11 26' is another well-paced piece where what isn't there is as important as what is there. A deep understanding of dub is being presented here. These are definitely unlocking our doors of perception. The album concludes with the most reggae-tinged dub track in '12 9' which returns the album back to the origins. 'Locked Doors' is a prime example at the Mood Series and why the future of the genre is bright. Ajnkana's return to the label has us all excited for their future in the scene. They are one to look for. Brilliant release!

Mood Series #100!!! Can you believe it? We can hardly believe it either!? 100 releases!!! Not a lot of labels have such a deep and rich catalog that can celebrate such a milestone like this. An amazing accomplishment and we are very proud of the music the series has laid out. We wish to thank the artists, the members behind the production team, and especially you, the audience! It goes without saying we wouldn't be in it if you were not along for the ride. Over 2 dozen different countries have been represented during this series is something we are very happy about. Tracking the progress of dub and deep techno from various countries has been crucial to the evolution and advancement of the sound we so much love.

Since this is a special landmark release, we felt that this should be a special release highlighting the main man behind everything. grad_u! "Transcending Chapters" is a compilation of secret tracks that grad_u has been holding back through the years, waiting for the right time. What better way to celebrate #100 than to have a big salute to our amazing leader with them? Listen as grad_u guides through addictive DJ-friendly dancefloor cuts to late-night atmospheric beauties to stripped-down dub chord massives and then on to broading armchair bangers and back again. All and all, grad_u gives us well over 2 hours of breathtaking techno. grad_u was really holding out on us! These are monumental! "Transcending Chapters" closes the book on the first 100 releases of the Mood Series. We hope you will be along for the next chapter in the label. Thank you once again from the Greyscale camp. The first four tracks will be available on a super limited vinyl dubplate while the following 12 tracks will be exclusive for the digital release. Portuguese artist Delectatio is a new signing to Silk Sofa. His EP, "Sunrise", features four unique and unforgettable downtempo cuts.

"Numinous" starts with intriguing guitar riffs and enjoyable melodies on top. Soon, intricate percussion elements as well as hypnotizing vocal stems emerge, while the delightful theme melody continues to liven up the soundscape. A blissful guitar line and soothing percussion elements introduce "Be Free". Fascinating vocal stems are added later, thereby adding an extra layer of delicate and refreshing textures. "Remember" begins with a stunning atmosphere, including a number of lush synths and an intricate bassline. A mesmerizing arpeggio melody emerges later, and numerous sound effects continuously spice up the soundscape. The final song in this package is "Latibule". Beautiful melodies are quickly established, and multiple new layers are added on top, as the song progresses. The soothing breakbeat comforts the listener even further.
