Inspired by the Techno sound of Frankfurt in the early 90s (Harthouse, Eye Q etc.) and the many good parties, Reitzklang started djing Techno and Trance in 1994.
Later, he focused on Psychedelic Trance. For the last 20 years, he has concentrated on Techno, Progressive House and Dub Techno. And finally, he started producing himself Dub Techno and Hypnotic Techno 2 years ago.

The Mood Series continues to push along in 2023 with quality release after quality release. #81 comes to us from a producer who is getting plenty of attention and rightly so! Krystian Shek is becoming a house hold name the last few years especially after in total now well over 25 years of a brilliant music discography. 'In The Dense Of Night' is his latest EP but first for the Greyscale label. The depth you get from 4 tracks here is truly astounding. 'Surabaya' begins the EP on a strong note. There is a tremendous balance of ominous and positivity within the track. It hits all the right notes and is a strong dancefloor mover. Just deep enough but not losing why dance music should ultimately be fun. The title track has a great two-step shuffle to it. Immediately, it has you nodding your head. It already pulled you in with the hypnotic rhythm. From there, things take a turn for the darker...an evil grin appears on your face. For those that like to dance in the dark. 'Fluids' is a gentle builder but don't let that comment fool you. This has just enough tech to get those feet tapping. The break and buildup of the melody is pure magic. Amazing how balanced this track is. Subdued but still crushes. Production genius there! 'Sukhumvit' is the deepest here of the four. The rolling bass frequencies are next level while the track rises and falls so smoothly. Krystian Shek has quite the talent. An EP that is sure to make anyone an immediate fan of his work. We hope to see Krystian back real soon on the label. We can't get enough of this!

Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer:
Electronic music collective from Siberia. Consisting of two guys: ENERCUBE and X_FR. Honoring the style of Dub Techno in the heart, the guys create music in this genre. Mood Series #84 takes us deep down under with 4 tracks of blazing dub techno escapes for the adventurous. Astralure is an Australian based producer who is new to our label. 'Echo Lock' is primed for dancefloor domination. 'Not Distracted' opens up the EP with a short but sweet trek into rhythmic dub techno. Slightly Detroit inspired but clearly not the normal sound you would hear. Especially from Australia. This is next left representation. 'Shake the Shadow' is a slow hooker that draws in deep to the subterranean groove that sounds one-part mechanical and one-part subharmonic funk. This is unique to say the least! The title track has the most classically trained dub components and overall feel to it. Sonically, it feels sub planted deep in an aquatic realm among itself. Everything reverberates with a slow wobble and shimmer to a very cool effect. We are swimming with a smile on this one! 'Sync-out' is the most chord structured to be affected under this heavy dose of echo and reverb treatment. The beat is consistent and pumping while things make you feel out of sorts or 'out of sync' beneath. Another creative track that completes this standout new EP and artist to the series. We welcome and thank Astralure for bringing a different flavor to our discography. This is something to be heard!

My real name is Marco, and I born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1974.
I’m a music lover since kid, with all genres influences, once that from young age, I remember to listen from the deepest fado (my fathers), Herbie Hancock Rockit, 80’s pop music or metal.
In 1996 I turned more into electronic, with main influence of Plastikman sound (albums and his Migmag mix) and other techno / house producers.
Also, the influence of some friends, heavy reggae and dub lovers had helped to define my sound, with some obsession about FX like delay, reverb and filter, and Basic Channel main influence.
I started to around 99 with my first decks, and collecting vinyl, blending deep house vibes, detroit techno, progressive house, tech house, etc. Also explore the possibilities of technology in mixing, as Traktor, as same as produce some original sound. But mainly vinyl addict and trader.

Kerstin Saidykhan aka Sai is a music nerd since her teens, influenced by many such as postpunk, dark wave through ska, jungle, dnb and techno. 
Dancehall and the Jamaican Sound System Culture had also a big influence on her (after visiting Jamaica twice at the end of the 90s) especially the ruff and heavy basslines of dub and raggamuffin had a big  imprint on her.
After the Wall fell, she spend many weekends at Berlin‘s growing club scene.
"It gave me the space to breathe as a young adult, what I needed at that time." - Sai 
Growing up in a small town in Western Germany near Hannover and studying social work in Braunschweig (& wrote her thesis about „Techno Culture in Germany“ in 1996 b.t.w.)
Finally she moved to Berlin in 2001 and came into contact with the rhythm&sound vibe that immediately resonated with her.
It was still the time of small and illegal clubs and improvised venues. In that scene, she had the opportunity to try herself as a DJ for a certain time. But through some personal trials and tribulations it never worked out on a larger scale. 
Dubtechno became a very special role to her caused by it's introvert meditative attitude.
„It allows me to deal with feelings of isolation and not belonging somewhere which runs through my life constantly from childhood on. So music is much more than entertainment to me.“
At the center of it all is the attraction of the dub vibe in general, which she likes to examine in all its facets and potentials. She loves creating deep atmospheric mixes around dub techno, combining the classics from earlier days with the current releases, often seasoned with some broken beats or other experimental electronic stuff. There are many great artists in the Dubtechno genre, which in her opinion are greatly underestimated.
