The latest Mood Series is another first appearance by a new artist who is very passionate and in depth about how they approach their contribution to the genre. TryError was established in 2011 as a conceptual outlook in the context of graphic design for visual research and exploration. Their creative strategy when making music is to take the human element out of the equation so more anomalies can happen to create unexpected and a more experimental output. Originally from Berlin, TryError has been experimenting and honing their production skills for almost 20 years now. Being their harshest critic, it wasn't until recently did they start to feel their music was achieving their high standards and begun sharing their music around to labels. 'Gravity & Grace' is their first release and it constantly balances opposing sounds or forces throughout the EP. 'Gravity' is a track where the tension is being constantly combatting in this audio tug-a-war assault on the senses. Giving in to chance allows the uneasy to have less parameters and thus feel more organic. Again, trying their best to subtract the human decisions. While 'Grace' explores a gentler slant where the absence of sound is just as important as the ones that are present. A stark contrast not only within each production but from track to track is also very evident. 'Proximity Shift' seems to combine both production technics. Chance and time are the variables. Elements randomize, attract and unite to build pressure while other components release to disperse the energy. TryError explain this themselves as "...unifying and separation through subtle changes in rhythm and texture – driven by organic evolving structures and constantly changing dynamics, resulting from untamed/self-feeding delays." The album's exploration of "formal errors“ and unexpected results, creates a sense of organic fluidity and emotional resonance that is both cerebral and deeply moving. Dub techno fans and those who appreciate experimental sounds will surely be excited about this project's first release 'Gravity & Grace'.

While his previous releases showcased his dedication to Dubtechno, 'Without a Doubt, Most Certainly' embraces experimentation and error in a different soundscape to explore and open new avenues, while staying true to his fundamental principle and delightfully unadjusted style.

The piece is a conceptual and profound musical exploration of the human thought process, inviting listeners to embark on an intimate journey of introspection, engaging in a deep inner dialogue, and consciously observing the gradual evolution of a clear line of thought – ending at the fingertips.

'Without a Doubt, Most Certainly' aims to transcend boundaries, guiding listeners through the labyrinth of thought between the abstract and tangible, allowing moments of uncertainty to bloom into profound realizations and emerging qualities. It is by design a musical voyage that captivates and stimulates the mind.

A heavyweight lineup of dub techno talent comes together for a deep and textured journey. Krystian Shek's Promise features two original productions from himself alongside with reworks from Yagya and grad_u. As a bonus, this collection expands even further with digital-exclusive remixes from Raytek and Noosa Sound System that come with the original purchase. Milly James returns to the label, lending her amazing voice to a release that bridges atmospheric depth with driving rhythm.
'Glow & Shine' locks into a hypnotic groove from the outset, its analog warmth and weighty percussion forming a solid foundation. A crisp snare and hi-hat pattern provide an irresistible swing, while chords and vocals land together in perfect sync, draped in a rich layer of delay. Spacey breakdowns allow the ride cymbal to subtly emerge, giving the track an evolving energy. The closing moments strip things back, with the chords guiding everything to a natural finish. 'Better That Way' shifts into a more melodic space, balancing intricate drum programming with an emotive vocal delivery. The initial rhythmic stutter adds a unique touch before settling into a flowing beat. As layers build, the chords and voice intertwine seamlessly, evoking a deep, contemplative feel. The breakdown smooths everything out, allowing the track to breathe before a striking bassline shift in the final section brings fresh momentum. The last ambient passage is particularly stunning, offering a moment of reflection.
The legendary Icelandic producer Yagya creates his interpretation of 'Glow & Shine' sees it drifting into dreamlike territory, wrapping the original’s elements in a lush, aquatic atmosphere. More of a song than a club tool, it glides effortlessly, capturing a serene, almost weightless mood. On the flip side, grad_u reshapes 'Better That Way' into a crisp, rolling dub excursion. Airy chords swirl above a commanding groove, with well-placed melodic flourishes adding an elegant touch. The arrangement continuously morphs, deepening its hypnotic pull.
Raytek’s remix of 'Glow & Shine' injects a sharper rhythmic intensity, pushing the track into darker, more driving territory. The vocal treatment becomes a focal point, cleverly reshaped to make the singing the true hook. Meanwhile, Noosa Sound System takes 'Better That Way' into stripped-down, immersive terrain. The off-kilter drum work and layered percussion create a mesmerizing flow, while the winding structure makes it a DJ-friendly tool.
This well-rounded collection that explores multiple shades of dub techno, this release has both dancefloor energy and introspective depth. With a strong roster of contributors, it delivers a blend of classic textures and fresh perspectives.

The latest release on Madloch's Crossfade Sounds welcomes French producer m.n.lith with a four-track showcase entitled In My Heart. Known under multiple guises including his alias Mime, the Tours-based artist has steadily built a reputation for immersive sound design, drawing from dub techno, deep techno and ambient spheres. His work has appeared on imprints such as Standard Deviationn as well as Melotonin, Insectorama, and Liberty Rhythm, while also serving as founder of LOST AREA, a collective bridging underground culture in Paris and beyond.

Opening with the title piece In My Heart, m.n.lith sculpts a slow-burning journey, where deep-rooted basslines and airy textures intertwine to reveal a hypnotic flow. The narrative continues with Spacew.rm, a collaborative effort with fellow French producer Ganlan, which expands the palette into darker dub territories, punctuated by subtle rhythms and a meditative undertow. Rounding out the release are two further originals, each exploring spacious frameworks and finely layered atmospheres, cementing the EP as both versatile and cohesive.

The Mood Series reaches its 145th edition with a warm welcome to Ukrainian producer Toishy Koshimi. Echo Vector is a beautifully balanced six-track journey through modern dub techno. Koshimi blends brisk, techy energy with deep, enveloping atmospheres that balance deep listening yet still being DJ material. Opener 'Voltage Memory' has propulsive rhythms and drifting chords that gather like clouds above a steady, head-nodding pulse. This is prime early-night club material. 'Brume Nocturne' digs deeper, its cavernous textures and melodic softness tempering the pace, building slowly before resolving into a gentle landing. The title track 'Echo Vector' glows warmly, underlined by a deep bass and flowing arrangement that brings introspection as much as movement. On 'Nebelraum', Koshimi crafts a feeling of mysticism, layering dynamic chords over a gradual build that feels almost ritualistic. 'Void Frequency' lightens the mood with airy pads and swirling chord patterns, almost storytelling in their progression yet purposeful. Closing cut 'Fogline' is one of the more assertive moments here as its bolder chord stabs lending weight while still retaining the EP’s deep-listening sensibility. With Echo Vector, Toishy Koshimi proves adept at the classic dub techno balance: hypnotic enough for headphones, yet with the rhythmic push and sonic detail to work in a club setting. It’s an assured debut in the Mood Series tradition, highlighting a strong Ukrainian artist in the global dub techno community.
