Virga is a natural phenomenon where rain falls from clouds but evaporates before it hits the ground. The main inspiration for this song came from an experience I had being on a boat in the middle of the ocean at night, where the horizon seemed to disappear as clouds uplifted the sea, a sort of rain in reverse.

Another priceless Priceless for the books. 
What a treat it is for the 3rd year in a row to play this beautiful festival nestled between the tallest of trees.

I played this set at 2am at the Forest stage, and it's all feels and textures - not a rager but full of energy. It's dark and moody. One might even say it's like magma that flows under ground - slow and powerful...

It's a set I've been craving to play for a while - I loved seeing tracks from different times in my life flow together in one potent current.

Shipwrecked 2024 - The Birthday Set 

After going through the twists and turns of life, I finally had a moment to slow down and get my Shipwrecked set online.  

I don’t tend to write long descriptions. But Shipwrecked 2024…Just. Wow. I was listening back to this set recently on a solo 9-hour drive and there were instances where tears welled up in my eyes, overwhelmed by the music and the realisation of a dream fulfilled: Being invited to share music I love at one of my favourite music sites. On my birthday. It was an immense honour. 

Tears also came from knowing that none of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my friends, loved ones, and listeners who have continuously uplifted, encouraged, and motivated me. Impostor syndrome is real but your belief in me means the world, and I am so grateful for your support in my life. 

Oosh and all those beautiful souls who danced alongside me. You all looked so beautiful. Your energy and enthusiasm fuelled this set, and I’ll cherish the memories we created together. 

Thank you, @shipwreckednz, for such an amazing weekend, to all the artists (I was gobsmacked by every single one I came across) and the crew who kept the festival sailing smoothly. From the first moment I set foot on the festival grounds, I was blown away - I could really feel the love radiating from every corner. Chef’s kiss to you. Special thanks and hugs to Jo Sweeney for capturing this moment through her lens, and to Danny for extending the invitation to share my music. 

Once again, thank you, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Your support has left a warm mark on my journey, and for that, I am truly blessed.
