i was bleeding out there on the pavement 
in the bright harsh light of the day
just gasping for air & fading but no one was there to save me

spilling out into the tall untamed grass
a cool breeze on my back

walking around my childhood house
the front lights are out
 but my rooms lit like day

the light house...
chimes now
too loud to say a thing

still painting out back with the roses
dandelion’s mane caught in the breeze
slipping in & out uncertain
like driftwood tidelocked at sea

flowers pouring out my mouth
raven woodblock sound
sleepin in past mid day

here i am
winstons running out the house
40 days of lifeless doubt
can this debt be repaid
