After a short hiatus, Integrity Records is back to present the continuity of their ‘Yellow” series of releases. The latest release features Paris based electronic artist Crâne de Poule, real name Louise Engelmann. First appearing on the label’s ‘The Other Side’ v/a compilation, “The Forest” EP sees the young producer of French and Dominican descent share her story by performing live, with her keys, analogue synths and drum machines. Recording live takes of her performance for the EP made sure that each moment she captured is off-the-cuff and in the moment. The artist's early classical and jazz influences can also be found on the release as she oscillates between Afro House, Tech-House and Techno. To reiterate, the “Yellow” series of releases aims to musically channel hope, clarity, and optimism in these uncertain times.

Crâne de Poule ‘The Forest’ EP will be released on the 27 of July, 2022.

Yannick Roberts is a Dutch producer who popped onto the Freerange radar following a rather tasty release on S3A’s excellent Sampling As An Art label.  Yannick’s own take on the deep, disco-influenced Detroit house sound spearheaded by fellow countrymen Dam Swindle, Fouk and Nachtbraker is warm and punchy with a big sound which feels like the perfect fit for Freerange. 

This four track EP kicks off with title track I Can’t Hide From Myself and rolls along perfectly with the help of an infectious roughed up bassline, crunchy hihats and saturated claps.  Next up we have the shuffled bumpy groove of Glorious Illusions reminding us of early Dam Swindle complete with sampled stabs and neck-snapping beats.   

Flipping over we’re treated to Femme Fatale which continues the dusty chopped up MPC sampled vibe in fine style with looped up vocals adding bags of extra energy.  Closing out the release we have Desalniettemin which treads a similar path but with a more jazzy approach cutting up some classic Philly soul and reimagining it into a late-night, heads-down basement jam.

Dutch producer @yannickroberts pops up on @freerangerecords fresh from his rather brilliant 'Staying Sane EP' on S3A which we covered last year. Featuring four tracks of Deep and Detroit-esque house music this EP is another huge step forward for Yannick, delivering a fully formed and lush club sound. 

Our premier from the EP today is 'Femme Fatale', deep throbbing basement music at it's finest. Hypnotic and euphoric synths, superb drum programming and pumping bass all combine for what is a rather spectacular dancefloor moment.

Diaz Tech is the alter ego of Daniel Alberto, producer and DJ with more than 15 years of career who presents us: "Don't Stop" EP that is between deep techno and tech house.

The EP has two powerful original tracks, which are also accompanied by three bomb remixes by Cu Da Curuxa, Cali Burton and Edd Brave.

The EP is characterized by analog and digital sounds without many processes, raw, with a dark touch and a little acid, with vocals that will tripped you out during the dance.
