'Blue Roads' from my City Lights album with Mark Dorricott (on iTunes hint hint)

3 instruments layered, naturally alternately protruding depending on which notes are being played and in what way. Educated listeners may notice the Keith Jarrett influence.

I do this all the time. I sit down at a piano and express how I feel through the keys, letting go of any expectations or conventionality. It tends to be a roller coaster of emotions, often caressing the keys one minute and then literally beating them up the next.
It's very intimate, but I always think afterward, damn I wish I could share that with the world. When I try recording, I lose that sense of intimacy and security. It's just never as good. Aware of that red "record" light blinking, I get self-conscious about making a proper performance.
With that limitation, here it is: a time capsule of how I felt on the evening of October 3, 2015.
