Groovy Bone is a global crew, but it's always a pleasure to big up artists from our hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. When local producer and long time friend DOMii dropped this roller on us, we knew we had to release it.

'Dive In' is unique and brilliantly composed, bass-line driven tech house. DOMii wastes no time illustrating her impeccable sense of rhythm and percussive timing. A bed of crisp drums lays the groundwork for an even crispier rolling sub bass, while a swimming blanket of synths slithers its way in before she establishes a funky 303 theme, establishing the tone for an exciting second drop. It floats and shimmies through a beautifully cohesive set of thematic elements, yet it never loses focus on moving bodies. 'Dive In' was a bit of a quarantine experiment for DOMii, as it's evident she wanted to create something clean and groovy to round out our last few weeks of pool weather.
