We have been working with @FOOLiEmusic for such a long time. Between compilations, dj shows, seductive messages over social media. We love the guy. He has a twist on House and Techno that is very unique to him. No-one sounds like FOOLiE and thats a great thing!

We are very pleased to bring his first solo release with BOC with none other than @miss_dre . 'I Said' is a thumpy techno record with a hypnotic perc rhythm, while the flip 'Refresh' is a dark groover. FOOLiE always seems to find the most unique grooves and be able to ride them out.

With or without a glitter mask the guy is amazing and we are really excited to see the future of this artist!

We are excited to have FOOLiE back with us again on this collaborative Friends EP where he is joined by Edgvr Romero, Wallace K and WEZ. If there's something that we have come to love with FOOLiE's releases it is that they are always exciting, full of energy, oh, and yes, super gritty. All 3 tracks offer their own unique vibe, kicking it off with Disco Bunny with its hypnotic synth lead and bouncy vibe taking you on a proper trip. We then have 'Got Sumthin' a straight-up club banger that slaps right where it should. 'Touch Me' finishes the EP off with some huge in-your-face kind of drums, dark gritty bass shots sprinkled with a nice vocal.

FOOLiE & Edgvr Romero - Touch Me (Original Mix)

Canadian newcomer Willy B. brings his funky fresh style to Groovy Bone in his new Throw It Down EP, our first 2 tracker of the year.

Setting things off with 'All I Do,' Willy shows off his mastery of rhythm with snappy drums and a crispy clean percussive layer, expertly accentuated with a neck snapping synth line that stays locked right in the pocket. Mr. B proves that keeping it tight doesn't mean overcomplicating things, rounding out the track with a warm and thumpy bottom heavy bassline that will give your subs a well needed post-quarantine workout.

The title track comes alongside his collab with Siconic, 'Throw It Down', a smashing tech heavy record with a taste of French touch. The real star here is the interplay between the slumping bassline and a bed of warm, fuzzy chords. Willy doesn't skimp on the drums here either, stamping his trademark shuffle all over a groovy helping of slick percussion.

We are always very excited to see labels we work with on a regular basis reach milestones and peaks within their catalogue. Over the years we have been lucky enough to work with some absolutely oustanding label projects, providing reviews, interviews, premieres and updates for the goings on around numerous different areas of underground dance music worldwide. Today, we are joining forces with some old friends again as the incredibly consistent team at House Of Hustle deliver a top draw compilation to celebrate 100 official releases. 

Now whilst we're here, let's break down what 100 releases actually means. That's not 100 songs, it's 100 projects, all consisting of numerous different elements including artwork, mastering, press, promotion, the list goes on. To reach 100 is a genuinely huge feat for any label, so we first of all want to send our express congratulations to everyone at H&H, who seemingly are yet to drop the ball on a single one of that centuary of releases. It's incredibly impressive. 

The compilation they are bringing to the table to deploy the frivolities with is a spicy collection indeeed, as they arrange a 20 track expanse in the depths of house and bass music, with every single track on the compilation playing a unique roll in showcasing the incredible depth available within the House Of Hustle roster. When the tracklisting emerged in our inbox, the simple truth is we couldn't wait to get involved, which is why are very excited to present our official premiere of Tim Klein's 'Pumpkin' for you all this afternoon.

This track is a perfect blend of house and bass themes, forging together well processed, crispy drum loops with a memorable vocal sample, delicate pad textures, exciting build ups and a sumptuous bassline which we hear pulsating away in the lower layers. The smoothness is almost unrivaled and we can't get enough of it.

As we are heading towards the darker winter season Elternhouse and Garruk delivers a perfect release matching the vibe with their Run Baby Run EP. The lead track Run Baby Run features an engaging dark percussive groove that blends perfectly with the lead vocal motive of the track, at times creating an almost haunting feeling when combined with the dark sustained bass and lead sounds. The second track, Control Your Mind, delivers a more straight forward club vibe, combining a pulsating bassline with an 'in-yo-face' kind of beat.
