In an exciting turn of events, Adrien d’Elzius has gathered a dream team of prolific and iconic actors of the scene to launch a surprise compilation album titled “Wave function” 

This unique release celebrates 24 years of Igloo Magazine's significant contribution to the electronic music scene.

It brings together artists who have been influenced and supported by the magazine's work, showcasing a range of styles and sounds that reflect the diversity and richness of electronic music.

Fans can expect an immersive listening experience that not only pays homage to a beloved institution but also pushes the boundaries of what electronic music can be.

Since its inception, Igloo Magazine has been at the forefront of promoting underground electronic music, providing artists a platform to thrive and fans a window into the genre's evolving landscape.
 
All proceeds from the sale of “Wave function” will be donated to Igloo Magazine continuing the spirit of community and mutual support that the magazine has fostered over the years. This gesture not only celebrates the magazine’s past contributions but also ensures it can keep making a difference in the future.

It’s our way of giving back to Igloo Magazine, which does so much for our community.

DJ Dreibot is together with Ian Lee cofounder of abseits Recordings. The label is based
on parties called abseits which were celebrated in the end of the 90īs. They set the focus on 
unconventional music. Their goal is to present a variety of different music styles and art to blow up your mind. 
Dreibot is at home in creating electronical music and played in clubs, partys and a lot of famous radioshows 
(eg. FM4, Elektrodos, Tracklistings, Threads, Techno-Club, Arkada Podcast, Science Cult Radio etc...).

aimlessambience is the culmination of my 25 years of musical exploration, a project driven by a relentless desire to evolve and grow in both musicianship and production. Music has always been a space for me to aimlessly explore, to capture fleeting moments of introspection, tension, and beauty. Adrien d’Elzius is a traveler of shadows and halos, a silent-walker who transforms emptiness into a path. His art invites listeners to hear what happens between states — where doubt yields to a gentle clarity, where the body-sound and image respond to and illuminate each other. In his universe, contemplative electronic music blends with abstract imagery and AI-enhanced visual writing, giving rise to a transmedia experience that does not merely tell a story but makes it emerge through each medium.

Musically, Adrien d’Elzius favors sounds that speak directly to bodily and emotional listening. His textures are spatial and sensuous: pads that breathe like nighttime landscapes, drones that sustain poetic tension, and discreet melodies that sharpen the sense of time. The rhythmic backbone, precise and technically crafted, is nurtured by his live drumming and a keen sense of groove — a framework that offers clarity without ever sacrificing emotion. This rhythmic dimension forms the skeleton upon which organic textures and electric scratches unfold, guiding the listener along an inner journey that unfolds without a promised endpoint, but with a growing clarity upon repeated listenings.

Visually, Adrien d’Elzius’s work is conceived as a door — a sequence of portals, halos, and organic motifs that reinvent themselves with every release. The sleeves, clips, and digital paintings are not mere illustrations but elements of a shared symbolic language. They accompany the music and render it legible as a complete sensory experience: a dialogue between light and matter, between opening and confinement, between world-dust and inner glow. This transmedia approach, where AI and manual craft coexist, is not mere technical experimentation but an artistic choice asserting that poetry can be produced as much by algorithms as by hands.

The heart of his universe is guided by a simple, ambitious thread: to traverse the inner space without imposing a fixed truth, offering tools for each listener to read their own path in sound and light. The journey is not a straight line but a living itinerary, oscillating between tension and reconciliation, between urgency and breath. In this frame, two poles stand as anchors: the blunt honesty of Bukowski and the mystical depth of Rilke. These voices, far from being imposed motifs, act as sparks that illuminate textures and tonalities: the former invites facing reality unmasked, the latter invites listening to the world with a near-sacred attention. Other voices—Jung, Watts, and McKenna—further nourish this thread, offering angles on the psyche, consciousness, and awakening.

The artist’s lexicon unfolds through recurring motifs: doors that open ajar, halos of light, spirals, and abstract structures. These motifs recur across all facets of his work—music, sleeves, clips, and digital paintings—and serve as a transversal language to articulate his universe. Their recurrence gives the whole a cohesive flow, like a book advancing chapter by chapter while remaining legible on every page.
