ARPRAXIS is a vinyl DJ, Techno, House and U.K. breaks artist. The music is electronic and genre-fused. Music from the soul. Inspired by early Detroit artists like Carl Craig, Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson. The early 90s Hardcore, Jungle and DnB magic makes up a majority of my record collection topped with hard-hitting gabber, techno and tracks from Detroit that still give me goosebumps…Red Planet ‘Star Dancer’ and Casey Tucker for example are sublime. We proudly present the debut album «Harmless Dreams» by the rock band BastEt from Helsingborg, Sweden, released by the independent label BastArt. The label unites over 50 musicians, artists, and actors, creating multi-layered audiovisual projects that combine music, art, literature, and performance.
The musical style of BastEt in the album «Harmless Dreams» is based on live instrumentation with guitars taking the lead. The sound is dense and rich, while maintaining an atmospheric depth. The band creates a soundscape full of emotional contrasts where every note resonates with honesty and sincerity. The compositions balance between melancholy and light, appealing to fans of classic rock, modern indie, and post-rock. Maria Knutsson’s vocals add sensuality and drama, perfectly highlighting the mood of the album.
«Harmless Dreams» explores deep themes of inner conflict, loss of identity, and the search for freedom. Through imagery of dreams and emotional confinement, the album paints a picture of alienation and personal struggle, where dreams turn into cold realities. This musical journey, rich in emotional nuances and contrasts, leaves the listener balancing between hope and despair.

I am a self-taught guitarist, delivering a traditional song writing style with rock, acoustic, folk, country and blues influences.

Whilst it is mostly a load of cheesy old nonsense, I have had a lot of enjoyment making all of these songs when I have time.
My vocals can be an acquired taste… (this is not my day job, just a hobby! 😂) but I hope that you can at least enjoy the musical melodical side of things.

All songs so far have been performed and recorded using a Taylor 214CE DLX on a Boss BR80 digital recorder. 

In 2024 I released “Whipped, Stripped & Almost Unplugged” which is an acoustic album of original songs. 
Further original releases have arrived and will continue to come which will be part of the next album called "The Road to Retrospection" in the near future.

I also have the pleasure of some occasional assistance from long-time friend and collaborator ©️CrackerJack on various tracks (check out his own stuff he’s pretty good!) and hope you can find a song you like out of everything that is here.

La Hollywood Freeway Ghosts kreas muzikon inspiritan de la alternativa, indie kaj progresema roko de la 80-aj kaj 90-aj jaroj, kun postglama stilo, nuancoj de psikedelio, iom da Ameriko, kaj moderna indie.
