“Till I’m Drunk & Confused (So Lost Without You)” tells the story of someone trapped in a loop of regret — drinking to forget, but only finding the truth they’ve been avoiding. It’s a story about the moment when denial gives way to clarity, and the only person left to face is yourself. The lyrics walk that tightrope between self-awareness and self-destruction: “I’ll drink booze till I’m well past confused / It’s killing me that there’s just no use / You’re the one thing I had to lose to learn the truth about me.” The music stays bright and pulsing, almost defiant — an ironic counterpoint to the lyrics’ honesty.
