Coins is the Toronto's Peter Chapman

Chapman has done time as Keyboard player in trashy garage rock band The Midways, and served as award winning hip-hop producer Peter Project producing, Djing, and Battling. In 2010 he beat 31 other producers and took first place in Toronto's first live beat battle in which producers were going head to head in live hip-hop production battles, showcasing their slick production and live composition abilities.

After putting putting hip-hop production on hiatus, Peter went back to his love of antiquated drum machines and synthesizers to create COINS. A loud awesome explosion of Electro House. Combining the thrashy energy of his days playing Garage Rock, and the emphasis on live performance and DJ technique mastered as Peter Project, Coins is loud and distorted. Coins make you dance.

Rapping in English, French, Creole, Spanish and Arabic, Nomadic Massive is Montreal Hip-Hop's best kept secret. Spreading their sound across borders and cultures, the group has captivated audiances and critics worldwide. Sharing a message of universal understanding and social justice, the live power-house has released two albums and two EP's. Having toured North and South America, the Carribbean and Europe and shared the stage with the likes of Deltron 3030, Charles Bradley, K'Naan and Julian Marley, they are currently recording their brand new album which is set to be released in 2016.
