The Church - Under The Milky Way (Miami Horror Cover)

The Head on the Door, released in 1985, brought back temporarily exiled bassist Simon Gallup, expanded the lineup to a five-piece, and resurrected some of the gothic gloom of the early '80s Cure without dispensing with the band's since-cultivated pop smarts. The result was the crystallization of the classic Cure sound, a sound the group would conquer '80s suburbia with. “A Night Like This” could be offered up as a prime example of what the Cures is perceived to be by the general public: dour, tragic, and oppressively distraught. One of Robert Smith's most powerful romantic laments, there's a violent undercurrent to the music that adds extra bite to his rueful words.

Pictures Of You - Extended Version (The Cure Cover)

"Just Like Heaven" is a song by British alternative rock band the Cure. The group wrote most of the song during recording sessions in southern France in 1987. The lyrics were written by their frontman Robert Smith, who drew inspiration from a past trip to the sea shore with his future wife. Smith's memories of the trip formed the basis for the song's accompanying music video. Before Smith had completed the lyrics, an instrumental version of the song was used as the theme for the French television show Les Enfants du Rock.

"Just Like Heaven" was the third single released from their 1987 album Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me. The song became the Cure's first American hit and reached number 40 on the Billboard charts in 1988.

"A Forest" is a song by the English rock band the Cure. Co-produced by Mike Hedges and the band's Robert Smith, it was released as a single from the band's second album Seventeen Seconds on 8 April 1980. It was their debut entry on the UK Singles Chart, reaching number 31. The accompanying music video was first shown on BBC's Top of the Pops programme on 24 April 1980.

Recorded and mixed over seven days, along with the rest of the songs from the album, "A Forest" is representative of the Cure's early-1980s gothic rock phase. The song has featured on the band's setlists for many years. Several versions have appeared on concert albums, and it was remixed and released as a single from Mixed Up in 1990.
Since its release, "A Forest" has become the most played Cure song, with over 1,000 live appearances.

"Sinking" is a song by the English rock band the Cure, contained in the album "The head on the door" released in August 1985.
The album is the first to feature drummer Boris Williams. Bassist Simon Gallup, who had previously worked on three major Cure albums of the early 1980s, was called back before the recording. In 1985, the band became a quintet with instrumentalist Porl Thompson as their fifth official member. 
The Head on the Door is the first Cure album where all the songs were composed solely by singer and guitarist Robert Smith.

"Lovesong" is a song originally recorded by the English alternative rock band The Cure, released as the third single from their eighth studio album Disintegration in 1989. The song saw considerable success in the United States, where it reached the number-two position in October 1989 and became the band's only top-ten entry on the Billboard Hot 100. In the United Kingdom the single charted at number 18, and it additionally peaked within the top 20 in Canada and Ireland. 
Speaking of its simplicity and unusually upbeat nature compared to the other tracks on Disintegration, Smith stated, "It's an open show of emotion. It's not trying to be clever. It's taken me ten years to reach the point where I feel comfortable singing a very straightforward love song".
