Mount Kimbie - Would Know

About a year ago, Shigeto released his debut full length, Full Circle, on Ghostly.  Today sees the release of New Light, previously a GMS-exclusive EP.  New Light is a collection of five previously unreleased tracks, culled from the last three years, that reside in the softer and more ambient spaces within Shigeto's repertoire.
You can look forward to more new material from Shigeto in early 2012.

Guidebooks | Soundcloud Fellowship Wrap up

Guidebooks live up to their name with adventurous use of found-sound and field recordings within songs that also feature more traditional band instrumentation.  A featured Soundcloud Fellowship in 2013 showed just how much fun the band could have collecting sounds and writing in collaboration with this huge international community.  Citing influences as diverse as Sufjan Stevens and Mount Kimbie, the current live shows promise to provide an experimental, but also playful, approach to song-writing and  performance.
