Guidebooks | Soundcloud Fellowship Wrap up

Guidebooks live up to their name with adventurous use of found-sound and field recordings within songs that also feature more traditional band instrumentation.  A featured Soundcloud Fellowship in 2013 showed just how much fun the band could have collecting sounds and writing in collaboration with this huge international community.  Citing influences as diverse as Sufjan Stevens and Mount Kimbie, the current live shows promise to provide an experimental, but also playful, approach to song-writing and  performance.
