Toné Vicioso is a composer, guitarist and singer that has been actively involved with the research of traditional music styles of the Dominican Republic for more than 40 years, and at the same time polishing his own unique craft. 

The rest of the musicians are young emerging artists with cultural insight making, for a music that is both, very entertaining and informative.

Glitterbeat is committed to global sounds and artists that don’t necessarily rubber-stamp our pre-conceptions of what regional music sounds like.  We live in a world of ever increasing intersections and the global musical conversation does not operate according to straight, predictable, and easily delineated rules. It is a conversation that is being reinvented and revolutionized each day.

Playlists are never random and much thought is put into creating a mood with the music, while including a very eclectic selection from all sorts of genre: indie, top 40, jazz, hip hop, R&B, EDM and the whole gamut.

Good music is meant to be listened to again and again. By having great music compiled in playlists you can always go back to those songs that you love, but you also get to listen to other great songs that go together, sharing a feeling or a theme, and creating a flow. 

In current times, where music is consumed so fast, it is nice to enjoy the old practice of creating and listening to "mixed tapes".
