After a handful of years sharpening his skills with 12"s on Rush Hour, Awanto 3 (@rednose-distrikt) has set the wheels in motion for his full-length debut album. 'Opel Mantra' sees the Dutch producer fuse his loose-limbed house grooves with influences from Africa and South America, marking not necessarily a shift in style but a concentration of vision.

On this remix of album opener "Su What?", RBMA grad @jameszoo decomposes the original's strict house thump into an abstract labyrinth of snake charmer sounds, bloops, bleeps and imposing basslines. Taking its time to unfold, the track shifts shapes defiantly, seemingly ducking into corners whenever it finds an opening. Jameszoo won't allow you to pick your own adventure, but he'll make sure that you want to stick around for the solving of the mystery.

The icing on the cake.
