A former protégée of the highly respected British DJ John Digweed, Pole Folder entered the limelight in 2001 as a DJ and producer at the forefront of the European progressive house movement, and has since evolved into a multi-instrumentalist and live performer of melodic-driven techno, tech house and deep house. His critically acclaimed music has been released on some of electronic music's most prestigious record labels including Global Underground and Renaissance, as well as on Bedrock Records, which put out his best sellers 'Apollo Vibes' (2001) and 'Dust' (2003). Both were co-produced alongside renowned Belgian DJ CP. In 2003, Digweed commissioned Pole Folder's debut artist album 'Zero Gold', and two years later it was released to worldwide praise from the electronic music media, including Resident Advisor, who gave it a 4.5/5 and described it as "delicate atmospheric...musically rich...and one of those timeless pieces of music." Several 'Zero Gold' tracks such as 'Faith In Me' with vocalist Kirsty Hawkshaw and 'Salvation On Slavery Sins' have featured on hit US TV shows including Nip/Tuck and CSI, and Pole Folder and CP's 'Apollo Vibes' was featured in the movie 'Stark Raving Mad', with 'Dust' used as the backing music for Channel 4's advertising campaign in the U.K.. Since 2003, Pole Folder has toured globally as a DJ and a live performer. His live shows aim to recreate the intricate and precise studio processes behind his music in a club environment, with synthesizers, mixing desks, FX boxes, laptops, and live vocalists fashioned by Pole Folder into a succinct club sound. He also plays guitar, synths, and trumpet, skills that he acquired during a long musical education that began at the age of 5. In 2006, Pole Folder launched 'Destinations' on Frisky Radio, a show that was recorded live at various gigs worldwide. It garnered a huge following and led Frisky to ask Pole Folder to recreate this concept live in the studio for his first compilation, 'Destinations', which utilised both his regular Pioneer DJ set up, and a number of live instruments. After a couple of label experiments (La Tour, 80Hz), Pole Folder launched his own record label Reworck in 2010. The imprint represents a new dawn for Pole Folder as an artist. With his sound having evolved into the more melodic fringes of techno, tech house, and deep house, and his gigs focused solely on live performances, Reworck embodies his new sound, his wealth of musical expertise, and passion for intense, soul-touching, dance music.

Dave Seaman is one of the original movers and shakers of the UK house movement. He has been DJing for over 25 years playing in over 70 countries around the world. He was the first editor of the clubbers bible, Mixmag, and has remixed and produced for everybody from U2 to Kylie and David Bowie to the Pet Shop Boys. He has also done over 20 mix compilations for the likes of Global Underground, Renaissance & Radio 1's Essential Mix and also been the main man behind the independent dance music labels, Stress Records,Audio Therapy and now his new imprint, Selador Recordings. Ahead of his show with us at The Steel Yard in October, @DJNickWarren brings us an hour of music for our exclusive mix series to soundtrack your Tuesday. 

Nick Warren became one of the first so-called "superstar DJs" in the mid-to-late '90s, holding down a high-profile residency at Cream in England, touring around the world, and appearing on several DJ mix albums before they became commonplace. Though he spun an eclectic array of dance styles in the late '80s and early '90s, he eventually championed the late-'90s trance sound of labels like Hooj Choons and joined the ranks of other superstar DJs like Sasha and Tall Paul. 

Nick Warren is still at the top of his game and showcasing why he is still standing as a giant within electronic music, championing a driving percussive sound and soaring musicality. Tune in and enjoy this journey!

Gus F is a musician, producer and DJ based on the beautiful island of Jersey. Gus won the global Sasha / Last Night On Earth DJing competition with a popular breaks mix just before the Covid pandemic sent the world into lockdown. He has been busy with productions, mixes and events since; dreaming up and broadcasting Secret Sunset to showcase new music at iconic locations around the beautiful island of Jersey and producing popular bootleg remixes from the likes of Kate Bush, London Grammar and Billie Eilish. Gus's first signed remix reached #1 on Beatport in the Electronica genre; a deep house version of Darkersound's "Through The Night" on Stripped Recordings. A number of other remixes were signed to Emotional Content and Music To Die For in late 2021. A massive remix of Bronski Beat's iconic Smalltown Boy was finally released in summer 2022 with Jimmy Somerville's blessing, almost 2 years and 1 million streams after a bootleg version was first aired at Secret Sunset.
