I discovered Frankie Knuckles through his music, one that was, gentle, lush with a subdued, understated power that rocked many a dancefloor.
I had the privilege to hear him once in the heyday of his legendary residency at Sound Factory Bar in New York. I was submerged, sonically and emotionally by the beauty of the music I heard that night. I remember very clearly saying to myself that this would be impossible to ever equal.
That was 20 years ago, and I never got to hear this magic combination again.

I got to meet Frankie a few times, and he was always like his music, gentle, humble,   yet naturally imposing

I've put together here some of my favorite music from him. So that his legacy can keep on inspiring other people.

Rest in peace, Frankie, may your music keep on moving people eternally

It's been a while, so here's the first 4 hours from my set at Stereo Montreal
Just a few words about that night: First of all, I had high expectations about playing in that legendary room. So many great DJs have played there, and many consider it the best club in the world. 
From the moment I started playing a few records, I found myself drawn to improvise to a more hypnotic, patient storytelling vibe rather than a straightforward approach. The amazing crowd made me feel like I could really take my time to build things up, so that’s exactly what I did—dark, hypnotic house & techno with groove.

From October 31st to November 5th, 2024, Ad Sidera Semper Festival transformed Bocas del Toro, Panama into a vibrant hub of music, art, wellness, and community. DJ Chus and La Santa joined a diverse lineup of international and national artists, including Hernan Cattaneo, Deer Jade, Luca Saporito (Audiofly), and more, performing across unique venues like beachfront stages, the Coralina hotel, and a floating bar on the ocean.
