The Rotterdam-based label and agency On Board Music proudly marks its 10-year anniversary with a carefully curated compilation of likeminded artists. This milestone release showcases those who have shaped the label's sound and identity, while also setting the tone for the years to come. On Board 10 features nine tracks on vinyl, complemented by five exclusive digital bonus tracks.

The collection traverses a diverse spectrum: from the immersive depths of Altinbas' atmospheric journey Submersion to the intricate, rhythmic craftsmanship of Polygonia's drum-workout Broken Temptation, and from GiGi FM's ethereal dub-techno exploration Maova and Dorisburg's percussive, Nordic-techno gem Sensorik. The release blends introspective meditativeness with dancefloor-ready energy - a balance between home listening and club environments. It's atmospheric, trippy, dubby, broken, ambient, techno - all the sounds that define the essence On Board Music.

“Rythme”
Is the French word for "rhythm" and my new podcast series. I spent the last year working on Elata Collective, and I think it’s now time to focus a bit more on pushing myself to release more material. This starts with a podcast series and will be followed by my own music. 

I hope you are going to like the ride; I really enjoyed recording this 2-hours format, which gives me time to explore different sounds and rhythms.

This tenth podcast of the Elata Series features mchvlsm, a Brazilian artist based in Berlin.

As an immersion in a captivating forest, mchvlsm captures the essence of tribalism with fast paced bass lines and a feral atmosphere. A journey through his productions offers the audience a complete experience of ritualistic techno. A music that takes root in the nature that surrounds him, full of elements but stays true to minimalist but sharp rhythms.
With releases on MZRRecords, SYXT, Evil Groove or AUM Records, mchvlsm proved his unique style.

We contacted mchvlsm after listening to his EP on MalaNoche. The quality of the release, the style of production and the energy behind these tracks were completely in line with our definition of techno. We then been able to discover more of his work and were extremely happy to meet him, and it confirmed that his vision was incredible.
His music is completely part of what we define as Elata vibe, and we are really honoured to host his first podcast. This 90 min podcast is a blend of energy and style, and also the chance to discover more of his work.

Keep his name in mind, more will come.

Hakkon was born in La Rioja (Spain) in August 1991. Since his childhood he was marked by his love of electronics and always wanted to become a DJ.

Since 2010 he started his passionate career of being a great professional in the electronic scene; In 2013 he started in discos. Thanks to hard and continuous work, a unique and varied musical repertoire has been created in his sessions, which are built with great intelligence and meticulousness, transporting the listener on a tireless journey of dark and forceful techno that result in a dynamic combination to 2 and 3 decks of a plurality of a style such as Techno.

Among his musical bases, his admiration for artists such as: Ben Sims, Truncate, Mark Broom, Robert Hood, Cristian Varela, Jeff Mills, Surgeon, Oscar Mulero, James Ruskin, in short, old guard, stands out.

In 2022 he participates as a member of the Plus One collective, sharing with leading artists from the world techno scene.

In terms of production, he has made his mark in countries such as Argentina, Colombia, Spain and Amsterdam, collaborating with labels such as Unterwelt, Parallel Thoughts, Dissolved Mind, Error in the System, The Office, Aoum, Habitat Musical, Kobold, Concepto Hipnótico, Residen7Alien and Donker.
