Started in October 2006 by Steve Lawler, VIVa Music began life as a conduit for the internationally renowned DJ and Producer to release the wealth of underground music he encountered on his travels. Now, just a few years later VIVa is a self-contained hotbed for new talent which draws attention from DJs, punters and producers alike. Having previously handled the now-classic and traditional vinyl label Harlem Records, Lawler decided VIVa was to be a forward thinking outlet for quality music and boldly announced that VIVa was to be digital only. As well as a clear mission to look towards the future of the music industry, this was a step to ensure that music could be released quickly and retain the freshness that the labels A&R was struck by. Far from the template set out by many of Lawler's contemporaries, VIVa quickly established itself as a label where artists could be themselves and write music that isn't defined by just A&R, but by one simple guideline: Quality. This has meant the label has gone on to release music from a wide range artists, from major players like Lawler and Audiofly through to burgeoning talent like Livio & Roby and Nicole Moudaber. In keeping with an ever evolving outlook, 2009 will see VIVa further transformed. Worldwide tour nights, Festival Arena, International Residency's and a new UK based residency at the legendary Ministry of Sound in London are just the tip of the iceberg. Always ones to buck trends, the VIVa family are pressing vinyl again alongside it's digital output as well as expanding its roster of relatively unknown talent rather than rely on the tried and tested. At the forefront of this exclusive roster of talent are the likes of Vrajitoroo, David Pher, Dragosh, Adroid Cartel, Jimmy Hill, Alex Tepper, TRNNSTR, Darius Syrossian & NYRA, Erphun and Sean Miller but VIVa will continue to work with what it considers extended family for both releases as well as remixes; which means the likes of Jamie Jones, Audiofly, Simon Baker, Tiefschwarz, Bearweasel, David Durango and many, many more. Leftroom Records opened its doors in August of 2005 in Nottingham, England. The label is the creation of Matt Tolfrey (Owner). Musically, it was one of the first labels of its kind in the UK, showcasing the off centre sound of house, disco and techno.

Distributed now by Above Board, the first release surfaced for the label on the 5th of December 2005 and was entitled ‘The Extended Family EP’ encapsulating the spirit of Leftroom, a place where a core set of artists could grow and experiment with their sound. The Leftroom family consists of a few key artists including Laura Jones, Huxley, Gavin Herlihy, Sam Russo and Matt himself.

April 2006 saw the launch of Leftroom's sublabel, Leftroom Limited. Musically Leftroom Limited brings a new dimension to Leftroom as a whole, concentrating on anything that wobbles from straight up house, to techno and even the uplifting. The first ep for the sublabel was Tolfrey & Sylvester presents: Popeye-Spinach Disko, a slow brewing, techy, disco record, which came out the end of May 06 with many plaudits. 

With Matt being label owner he proved his A&R capabilities are pin-point in securing one of 2007’s biggest tracks, Ito & Star’s ‘Suduko Kid’ and one of 2008’s biggest crossover tracks, Rocha and Lewinger’s ‘Down Seq’. The summer of 2011 brought you Laura Jones's 'Love In Me' which was a global phenomenon, and Maceo Plex's remix of the same track was Leftroom's first no 1 overall seller on Beatport. In 2012 Kate Simko's 'Go On Then' featuring Jem Cooke stole all headlines, and the same year brought you Matt's debut artist album 'Word Of Mouth.' 

With new albums and mix compilations not to far away, and a whole host of new releases, Leftroom is sure to carry on where it left off which is delivering high quality, diverse dance music.

Italian duo Neverdogs are two decades strong into their tenure within the global underground dance music scene. Renowned for their extended feel-good and uplifting sets, full of sensual tones, sultry atmospheres and upbeat House & Techno, Bamboleo Records frontmen Tommy Paone & Marco De Gregorio continue to set a precedent for cutting-edge avant-garde dance cuts.

With Tommy inspired by a mix of Punk, Electro, Experimental Rock, ‘70s/’80s + more, and Marco from the likes of Depeche Mode, Yazoo and ‘80s House, the Neverdogs blueprint draws influence from the likes of Larry Levan, Tony Humphries, Masters At Work, Satoshi Tomii, Deep Dish, Ralf, Ricky Montanari and Flavio Vecchi among others.

Rising to fame through a celebrated residency at Amnesia Ibiza with renowned Ibiza brand Music On from its beginning until 2011, Neverdogs continue to appear across the world’s best-known festivals, brands and club spaces. Some of their most recognised appearances have been Destino Ibiza, Studio 338 London, Pacha Ibiza and Fabric London - where they recently celebrated 20 years of Neverdogs with one of their increasingly popular Bamboleo showcases. When considering leading electronic imprints, Neverdogs have become almost inevitable.

Releases on the likes of elrow Music, Mindshake, Bamboleo, Tamango, Snatch!, Moan, Sanity, Blackflag, Deeperfect, Roush, Avotre and many more continue to cement their prominence through high-quality dancefloor-focused subterranean club records.

In 2019, Neverdogs released their ‘Details’ album on Bamboleo Records. The thirteen-track body of work goes way beyond the dancefloor, with Tommy and Marco describing it as “13 tracks that we think not only the people in the industry will enjoy, but also everyone in the music scene.” The album offers a kaleidoscopic journey into the profound and cultured depths of Neverdogs’ musical creativity, providing a variety of moods and soundscapes for every listening scenario conceivable.

Bass Culture Records is a house and techno music label started in 2009 by parisian dj/producer D'julz. The label is named after D'julz' 20 years old residency at Rex Club in Paris which became recently the longest running residency at this legendary club.

Definition:Music is a down-to-earth, non-chalant label that lives somewhere between House and Techno, displaying a diversity that never loses sight of the common theme.

Definition keeps in mind the fact that a lot of electronic music today is difficult to classify, making it all the more important to follow his very own idea of quality club music.
